Our last trip ended on Dec 11, 2010 On our ride home I planned our next trip:banana:

1st let me intoduce ourselves, My name is Ron (aka Disney Commando) a proud member of The Dis Dad Club & WDW Commando Club:cool1: My wife Rachel & most important my 5 yr old son Hunter (this will be his 7th trip:goodvibes)

Our next trip is booked For August 21-27, will be staying at All Star Movies, 7 day Park Hoppers, & Dinning Plan (1QS, 1TS, 1S per day) I booked through AAA for the extra perks since it was the same price, but really will be ahead of the game, since they had a promo going on:goodvibes, also recieved the kids play and stay free deal:woohoo:

Now being a Commando, all ADR's are already made, since they were all made in the first 5mins they could be made, I was off by 15mins total of what I planned, but got everything I wanted:cool1:

I also made ressie's for a couple of extras, once again no problem:woohoo:

I promised my wife this trip we could do some down time:scared1:, I'm a extreme Commando, so this was a hard thing to do, but with no extra stuff going on it is possible:confused3. I know in my gut it will not work since she want's to take down time from Noon till 4 (alot of shows going on then:eek:) So I'm prepaired for her submit of defeat:lmao: (although she would like to rest, she also hates to miss anything:lmao:) So who knows what will happen (I got a good idea though:lmao:)

It's going to tough to pull of such a great trip as our last Dec trip, But for my son I'm willing to take the challange:cool1:

Welcome:goodvibes

I'll be in DW the sametime as you guys! Ill sub in and enjoy your planning as much as mine!

All are ADR's are made (did it the 1st minute system would let me:woohoo:)

I was very pleased with the times I got, my main goal was to get 1st seating so we wouldn't have to sit around waiting for a table:banana:

8/21 - Ohana 5pm
8/22 - Whispering Canyon 5pm
8/23 - Teppen Edo 4:10pm
8/24 - 1900 Park Fare 8am breakfast
8/25 - Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Package 4:30pm
8/26 - LeCellier- 11:35am Lunch

I am completly happy with the ADR's, don't need to try changing times or anything:goodvibes, So now I can plan all around the ADR's:goodvibes

Subscribing! :yay:

:welcome: I hope I can keep it interesting:confused3, have a few gut speculations that I hope will pan out, these are my favorite kind of plans (even though these things do not exist as of now:confused3)

My favorite must do event and what led up to it:confused3

We got a 12noon Ressie for Harmony Barbershop:yay:

OK now you might ask yourself What's the big deal:confused3

On our Honeymoon trip, 1st hour, 1st day in MK we got Bride & Groom Mickey Hats, we were walking through the stores on Main Street, and were cornered in a store by 4 men, They asked us our names and when we got married, they then announced it in the store and we were surrounded by a crowd, They then sang When You Wish Upon A Star to us, these 4 men were none other then The Dapper Dans:goodvibes

A couple of trips ago, we got on the back seat of the horse drawn trolley, as it was getting ready to go The Dapper Dans jumped on the back, and all the way down MS sang songs to my son:goodvibes

Now a few months before our last trip I read a post that someone saw them at The Harmony Barber Shop around noon, they had no idea that they would be there or if they are there all the time:confused3
To me this made alot of sense, since they are a Barbershop Quartet and noon seemed like a rite time for something like this, I made a noon ressie, on a huntch hoping it would pan out:confused3

Around 12:05 The Dapper Dans arrived:cool1: Both my son and I were in a barber chair getting a haircut, not alot of room in the shop so only a few other people were inside (but a crowd outside), They were dressed to the nine in festive Holiday colors (Christmas) and sang some Christmas and Disney songs:goodvibes Then they posed for a pic with my son and I in the chair and the barbers:goodvibes

As far as I know this only happens at noon.

So the 1st day I could (180days) I made our next 12noon haircut ressie, this is now something we will do every trip, It is are Father, Son Disney thing that he really enjoys, most likey years down the road, he will do the same:goodvibes

What are the chances of that:cool1:, plus these 3 are my repeat must do, written in stone ADR's the other 3 are newbie's :confused3

The only ADR I have this trip that I'm worried about is Hollywood & Vine it has some stuff I like but it has alot of stuff alittle different (I'm a pickey eater, so is my son:lmao:) but I promised my wife we would see Fantasmic, so I'll just roll with it:confused3

Just booked our travel via The Autotrain, it went up $90 in 2 days:scared1:, who knows what it will be by the time we leave:confused3, with the gas prices going up everyday:confused3

A few things that are a must to do this trip, most we have done , but have some new stuff in the mix:cool1:

- Jedi Training
- Have son try to get some more Transportation Trading Cards
- Haircut
- New Lego Store
- T-rex Cafe
- AAA Storytime
- Disney Visa Pic
- Ride any vechicle on Main Street
- Sing A Long Campfire with Chip & Dale at Camp Wilderness

Thinking about doing Chip & Dales Campfire Sing Along at the Camp Ground. Anyone ever done it, is it worth going to:confused3

We are looking forward to going to the Tiki Room, heard they were dropping the Under New Management and maybe going back to the original, it's been so long I don't remember how the original went:confused3
