Is it possible to eat reasonably healthily on a 3 week florida vacation ?
Breakfasts should be ok - staying in an apartment and will buy nice cereals, fruit and juices etc.
And evenings shouldnt be too bad - ponderosa etc - as long as I have the will power to keep away from steak and chips. They do lovely salads and fruits.
but its lunches I am worrying about. Last time we went to disney I was 4 stone heavier and ate everything in sight, and it was always burgers and chips etc for lunches. I just cant remember seeing anything vaguely healthy like a nice wholemeal sandwich or a salad etc.
Found out I was bordering on diabetic, and needed to cut down on sugar, and it finally gave me the kick up the bum I needed to lose a bit of weight as well. Still have another stone or so to go, and I really dont want to put on any weight on holiday !
Went to Blackpool pleasure beach for the weekend recently and struggled as everything was junk food, and I am really worried about 3 weeks of temptation - especially all the lovely world food at epcot.
Am I going to be able to cope ? without putting on shed loads of weight.
