We'll be at CBR for 14 nights so I'm sure will be eating quite a few breakfasts, lunches and even dinners there, along with some snacks. I'm really trying to lose weight (17 lbs so far) and want to try to eat healthy while I'm there. Can anyone suggest some options at CBR's food court? Please know I'm not much of a fish eater unless it's a very mild fish (no shrimp, crab, etc. -- not that you could even get that at the food court).

They have a chicken caesar salad...although I know the dressings can be bad. Maybe if you order it on the side. Also there was a great sandwich that I got on homemade bread that was really good (different from burgers). There is one qs at dinnertime that offers more homecooked meals such as grilled chicken, pork chops, stirfry, rice, and salmon (I know you don't like seafood, but I saw it there).

For breakfast I did see yogurt and fresh fruit, plus cereals. (We took oatmeal and cooked it in our room with water from the coffee pot, saved money and healthy).

If you check out allears.net they have actual menus for each resort and restaurant within the world and you can decide before you go what may be the best options for dieting.

Also if you get a pedometer you can monitor your many footsteps at WDW, and then use it to determine how many calories you have burned in order to help you keep your weight loss goals! Good luck!!!

I cannot begin to count how many salads I have eaten in Disney World - resorts and parks. I have always asked for them to leave off the dressing. Never had a problem anywhere. I am sure you could ask for it on the side if you want it, or pick your own from the condiments table.

Fresh fruit bowls and yogurst are also plentiful in foodcourts

Congratulations on the weight loss, so you know what to do.

However, this is your Disney vacation. So, add fruits, veggies, and salads in moderation and enjoy yourself at times. I would wake up early for an extra 30 minutes of exercise and not try to count as many calories during the vacation.

There are plenty of fresh fruit cups in the grab & go section that count as a dessert or a snack credit. It didn't look like a lot of people realized you could get your meal from the hot food stations and your dessert from the grab n go but you can.
