Does anyone know of any good, healthy CS options in the parks or at any of the monorail resorts, especially Captain Cook's? I usually have a pretty tough time finding anything I'll eat, especially within the parks. I'm a vegetarian, allergic to nuts and soy, and I very rarely eat processed food of any kind, so I'll be really grateful and impressed if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks! :goodvibes

There are many good, healthy counter service options throughout the parks, but it sounds like you have some serious medical issues, as well as choosing to limit your dietary choices quite a bit by eating vegetarian & no processed foods. That will cut out a very large portion of the foods offered at counter service. Seems like every menu I recall had some vegetarian offerings, but these may or may not have contained soy...so often on grilled veggies/stir fryed veggies they are using soy oil or soy sauce. You might just want to contact Disney food services & talk to some of their specialists to steer you towards places/foods which will fit your needs. I think there may be some info on the Disabilities board about food allergies...I do recall reading a post once where the woman said she had been told by Disney that virtually all the prepackaged desserts at counter service could contain nuts.

I do know that at table service restaurants, they will make foods special to meet the needs of individual diners...a chef will actually come to your table & discuss what can be prepared. You might want to consider that option...will cost more, but at least you can be assured you won't get an unexpected reaction to a substance you didn't know was in there.

CHH -in the MK.
I get the Tuna on this Oat/nut bread. Omg so good.
DH- Get's the Hummus said it is very good.

I'm vegan, allergic to dairy, and I find that it is best to eat at table service restaurants in Disney. They are very accommodating and come up with some great options for me. The counter service places will have books to show what is in each item they serve but for the most part, they won't be able to cook you anything special. Soy will be a big problem for you since the vegan options tend to be tofu based but I am sure they can do something for you if you let them know in advance. Kona Cafe is a good option and for lunch, you can go there without a reservation.
