OP here - it looks like my advisory about member admin not wanting to do early point uploads for resale purchases was a short term blip. I gave it one more go via chat last week when my elusive room category I wanted at my new resort popped up unexpectedly and MA hooked me up with my new points. It had been nearly 2 weeks at that point, so they were probably close to uploading the points anyway.
Just to clear things up, when I posted about this initially, I wasn't mad about MA possibly backing off from doing early uploads (jumping the line, if you will). Going in order of contract receipt is absolutely the fair way to go about things. However, I spent waaaaaaaaay too much time perusing the Closing Time thread here in this forum, and that indicated that it was actually easy/common to request an early points upload and the request would be granted. If others were noticing the same trend and were anticipating being able to request early points uploads for their new resale contracts, I was hoping to prevent the disappointment I felt when that request was denied. In the end, it looks like MA is allowing and generally fulfilling early upload requests again.
