Heads up - Don't reallocate or modify right now if you dont absolutely have to!

Still missing points. Im not sure if MS has always been this bad or if its new people or what but Im now terrified to call and have them touch anything in my account.
I just posted that they “forgot” to refund me after I cancelled the dining plan.

I was literally arguing with the Dvc CM. He said I needed to call my bank credit card to see where the refund is bc they sent it over.

Ummm. After much back and forth, he then “realized” the prior CM who cancelled the dining plan never “issued” the refund.

This is for a trip in December. After Xmas. 6-7 months away.

And now you’re missing your points!!!!!

I just got lectured for transferring points from one contract to another and asking if I could do it again because im new and miscalculated.

They did it with supervisor intervention and now I used all my points successfully, but I did get chastised and scolded like a child 🤣🤣
 
I use chrome incognito mode and so far that has worked for me and all points reallocate successfully. I used to use regular chrome but then the page would just freeze and not load anything, I've lost some reservations due to that.

MS does help but you have to go thru channels and time and them going thru all the notes and making you feel as if youve done something terrible🤣🤣.

I waited an hour and 10 mins for them to resolve my issue this morning cuz they were dealing with something with MM

Just so others don’t get confused. You don’t transfer between contracts, you transfer between memberships.

Since you have multiple UYs, you are eligible ti transfer points between them.

The website has an email us but it is just a form. I want to show screenshots of how messed up my account is.
I think this would be a good place to start. Maybe even CC william.c.diercksen@disney.com to get extra eyes on it?

I got an immediate auto-reply from Member Satisfaction. It said something like based on the type of inquiry it could take longer to respond after forwarding to the right department. Mine was slightly different since it was a MS cast compliment and I got a reply the next day. The survey wasn't enough for what this person did for me so I had to elaborate in writing how helpful she was.

Thanks I don’t think I need to get Bill involved although I doubt he actually reads the emails himself. I had the rare opportunity to banked points and asked MS to reallocate them for an upcoming reservation that was in the use year that the points were banked into. Now instead of a few extra points I’ve lost a bunch more!!

Did MS say they were looking into it? I have heard nothing about my missing points, luckily its only 2

Did you try to do a modification on your own without changing anything to see if it picks up what you want and releases what it should?

At least it will show you the contracts and what is in them? Might be worth the screenshot prior to it taking the points to reconfirm it.

This is how I discovered it was messed up actually.

I never went all the way through but when I clicked on modify it shows all of the contracts but 3 are selected and they are not in the right order. On top of that there is a lock on each of those 3. I can select the other contracts to use but it won’t use them as the reservation is not that many points and with the lock I can’t remove the others.

Reservation was made at 7 months btw

So, do the locked contracts and the other contracts total to the correct amount of points you should now have?

If so, then be sure ti screenshot that because at least that is correct.

You can also call MS and see if there is a way to get the contracts unlocked since this was a 7 month booking.

I have found that if you modify a home resort booking at 7 months, the original contract that was used during the home resort remains locked.

I have had success with MS being to fix that.

It was a new booking at 7 months out.
I had contacted MS initially but they were not able to figure it out and put it in for investigation.
Fingers crossed they can it resolved.
