Headphones on ride?

On our last trip to Disneyland, my granddaughter used headphones in certain rides/queues that were too loud for her.
We forgot to take them when we did Incredicoaster, and really regretted it, it has speakers built in at ear level that blast loud stuff throughout the ride. Between that and her anxiety about hot first loop she was in tears at the end of it.
She used them on the Guardians ride there (Tower of Terror)

So we have a trip planned this summer and she wants to ride the Guardians coaster, Rock in Roller, and Tron.
Would there be any issues riding those with headphones on with the fast launches?

I know the Guardians and RNR coaster are pretty loud at least from trip reports I've seen.

I would guess that due to the speed and roughness of those rides a headset wouldn't be allowed for safety.

I have used mine on RNR gardian many times. I have only done torn once and forgot my ear protectors on that ride and wish I brought them with me

I had no idea! Curious to see if anyone has hard answers on the rides on question .

Could the person wear in ear silicone ones and maybe like a thick fabric headband over it? I’m sure not as good, but better than nothing. Just throwing an idea out.

I use foam plugs for louder environments. I have more comfortable ones from Earaser but they don’t block enough sound, especially on a coaster. I’ve had no problems with ear plugs on rides. My son is also autistic and prefers noise canceling ear buds. His ear buds are connected to each other by a short cord and also have a fan shape to help hold on to the ear pinna. We’ve had difficulty a few times over the years being required by a CM to remove them. Now we carry back up foam ear plugs.

Thanks! The ones we have are over the ear model, but I'll be sure to have some foam ones for back up.
We ate at a cool place in NYC after a Broadway show, where the waiter sing, and were unprepared how overwhelming the environment would be to her; had to run across the street to buy some cheap headphones, after that was fine. Don't have to cancel out everything, just mute it a bit.
