What information can anyone give me on toasting marshmallows? Is it every night and do you purchase the supplies there or bring your own?

While I have not stayed at OKW, I have stayed at other resorts. The way it has worked is that they will have a campfire on particular days (you'll have to see the resort schedule to verify which days). And they will provide, free of charge, marshmallows and sticks for roasting. But if you want to make s'mores, you will have to bring your own s'more supply, or you can purchase a s'more kit at the campfire. Hope that helps!

It was not everyday when we went. Maybe 3 times during the week. They have all the supplies and it’s a very low key event. They give safety information when you show up. We went in September and it was only 2 or 3 other families there with us. it was a nice memory.

We were at AKL Jambo house in January they gave you a stick and marshmallows and asked if you wanted to make a s’mores.then they gave us the graham cracker and chocolate.free of charge it was fro 5 pm to 7 pm at the outside firepit

FWIW - you don’t have to be staying at a particular resort to enjoy the marshmallow roasting. If you’re resort hopping or close enough to a resort (ie. BCV/BWV from Epcot WS). around 5-7, you are allowed to participate.

Sounds great! I'll be at Jambo on my next trip and I'll be on the lookout for this. Are the days and times (in case different months have different times) on the Resort Activity Sheet?
Also, in case s'mores aren't free when I get there, does anyone know how much the s'mores kits cost?

I don't recall exactly but it may have been $10 (we were just at WDW, although not AKL, in January). I also think I've heard that it can vary based on the resort. (That may be why some in this post have noted free s'mores supplies as well.) 🤷‍♂️
