Heading out Saturday for a week at AKV-Kidani

Looking forward to our week at AKV-Kidani except for the crowds. I've been reading a lot lately about how many people are at WDW right now and I see no reason that would change for next week. I remember in the old days the crowds were smaller at this time of year. Oh well, we've basically done and seen it all many, many times so we plan on just taking it very slow and if there is a line we'll just keep on walking. Am looking forward to F&W a lot and in fact will probably hit Epcot everyday. I see this as being an Epcot/AK trip. Probably won't even go to HS and probably hit MK only once to see the Halloween decorations. I'll try to post pictures if I can figure out how to do it.

Sounds like a great, laid-back plan! Kidani is such a great resort; we are staying at OKW for our F&W visit next month. I feel the same way about going to other parks. We usually travel with our DS9, so we are usually going commando to hit rides. This October visit is just DW and I, and we kind of want to take it slow and enjoy the scenery. We are planning daily visits to Epcot, as well. We do plan to go to MK for MNSSHP, but I don't think we will go back to MK the rest of the trip. We are considering spending half a day at AK, but were not sure if we are going to make it to HS. We also plan to visit Disney Springs one morning to shop and have lunch at The Boathouse. Of course, our main purpose for going to WDW this time is to enjoy F&W.

We have 38 days until heading home! Can't wait! AKL then Poly. Half days at AK and HS. Mostly MK and F&W and finishing with Osbourbe Festival of Lights!

We're leaving tomorrow and will be at Kidani 9 nights. This is a first trip for one of our grandsons, so we'll prolly send several days at the MK. My daughter and her husband will probably hit F&W a few evenings. I hope you're wrong about the crowds, OP!
