IF you don't have a car, I guess you are the mercy of the supershuttle ( unless you want to pay $$$$$$ for taxi or towncar).

HOW do you plan on *timewise* getting back?? how do you schedule a supershuttle? are they reliable? how much time do you NEED to be at the airport before your flight?

(doesn't really want to get a rental car,,,,, but may decide to for peace of mind)

We used them in April. Paid $68 each way for a private van to pick up 6 of us to and from LAX. They were very professional and arrived early in Anaheim to pick us up. Sorry I do not have their number but the website is

goldenwestexpress.com

good luck!

Allow TONS of time!!! LAX security takes forever to get thru and the freeways from Anaheim to the airport can back up most any time of day.

We just flew back from LAX last week and almost missed our plane. Our luggage got to spend an extra day in California because they didnt have time to get it on the plane. We had to RUN thru the airport to catch our flight (remember that commercial with OJ running thru the airport?).

If you use Supershuttle you just tell them what time your flight is and they recommend a time to pick you up. Our flight was at 11:40 a.m. on a Saturday and they picked us up at 8:30 a.m. We had plenty of time to spare but the lines at LAX were VERY long.

We left Anaheim (using Airport Bus... wouldn't recommend it) before 8:30 AM and even the driver said traffic was nuts. He radioed into dispatch and told them "tell the other guys to use a different route".

That said, we were at the airport plenty early... 9:20 AM for a 12:20 flight. Security didn't take us very long at all, but people not far behind us waited 45 mins in line. And we saw a few people running through the airport for their flight. Some missed their flight, some went without luggage because it had already been removed.

When you call for your shuttle they will know what they're talking about... go when they recommend.

HenDuck-

That sounds like a pretty good rate with Golden West Express. so that was $68 for all of you or per person?

Was there a gratuity included or added on top of that?

Did they have other vehicles available to rent?
