Headin South for Some "Tooth" Whitening!! A Dizneydawn TR ACTUAL Update 7/14

Your wedding sounded just wonderful! You all look so very happy in your pictures.

Hope Treyner is feeling better soon. It's no fun for Mom when our kids are sick.

Congratulations to you and Dan and the rest of your beautiful family- I am so happy for all of you!

Hope Treyner is having a speedy recovery and will feel much better FAST!!

WOW!!!!! You look awesome! I love your dress. I love your hair! I love your flowers! I love the group shots! The kids and Dan look so handsome/beautiful! Nice Pictures. What a treat!!!!!!

Hey all -
Treyner had another surgery this morning. Only scheduled yesterday afternoon and there is some complications and medical issues I would rather not go into here in detail but wanted you all to know if I am not back on today - the reason and I will get here ASAP. He is home with a follow up Friday and we will know more then. He cannot go up stairs easy so he is downstairs and someone needs to be with him for the next 48 hours non stop.

Our computer that is functional is upstairs! :surfweb: :sad2:

Thanks again for all the well wishes. It means a lot to Dan and I.

Here's to a speedy recovery for Treyner. I hope he gets well very fast! Thoughts and prayers going your way!

When we last left off over a million days ago, I had finished with a few pics of us at the beginning of the Pangani Trail. As an animal lover I enjoy walking around leisurely and spying on all the cute babies and even big babies that lurk on the trail. :lmao:

Baylor is hoping to be a knuckle drager like Treyner someday!

P1090461.jpg

So cute I just want to run in there and hug the baby. Then I envision  the Momma or Big Poppa ripping my head off and serving it like a volleyball back on the appropriate side of the fenced area and I am able to contain myself. :teacher:

I have seen them fling poop farther than Brett Favre can huck a football so I squeeze Dan's hand until it is about to fall off and the urge to have my own gorilla and become a rogue Sigourney Weaver/pretending to be Dian Fossey passes. :rolleyes1

P1090454.jpg

I also find the colors of ducks amazing. So vibrant and have you ever thought that God must be Metrosexual? I mean you never see an animal that clashes!

Random and weird but totally true because now your thinking about the sunset, the sunrise, the oceans and trees as a backdrop and all the animals with all the different coats, furs and feathers and not a single one would you sit back and say, "Ya know, that really does not go together!"

Yet, I know many a "manly" man on this earth that cannot figure out what color socks to wear with flannel. :rotfl2:

Anywhoozie...where was I? Oh yes...we left the trail and I was too full to get a Jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel but did see where they are at for a future endeavor. We did though stop and see a CM making a beautiful rhino free hand and if I can come back as a millionaire to Disney just once, I would buy up a bunch of the carvings. So much better than some manufactured replica made in Taiwan, painted in Buenas Aires then shipped to Brooklyn of an animal from Afreeeeka!

We decided not to do any shows this time. We have seen Lion King and Nemo twice in the last two years, so it was on to ride Dinosaur which still scares the holy heck out of me every single time!!!

P1090465.jpg

The park was starting to fill up a bit more, Baylor was ready to go shop and swim a bit and since Dan could not find his Goofy Spree candy anywhere, there was no use to keep checking at every store we passed.

(Does anybody know what happened to those suckers anyway?)

We had plenty of time to do whatever so we stopped by the Nike Clearance center and picked up some Krispie Kreme's for breakfast. We also saw some weird stuff outside the safety of WDW property.

P1090468.jpg

Not quite sure if they are real vampires or just bringing along Aunt Edna from National Lampoons!

P1090470.jpg

We also saw a license plate that may belong to either a Rapper or a husband from the TV show, “Mob Wives.”

Does anybody else see this sort of stuff on their travels??

Once back at POFQ, we took a few minutes to hang out at the pool. We found out our little neck of the woods was bustling with cheerleaders there for the national competition. There was about twenty or so teens who found Baylor rather interesting. Now here is the difference between my sons.

My oldest, would approach anyone at anytime and be semi-confident they would be receptive to his charming personality and smile.

My youngest, needs to be clubbed, drug off into the woods and provided a ribeye from a hunted Wooly Mammoth before he gets the clue.

We were playing catch with a football in the pool and all of a sudden ten girls, all get in the pool and start doing stunts, acting obnoxious and splashing about like dolphins at a Sea World show.

Baylor, still oblivious they are not trying to get my attention, just keeps his head straight like he is Joe Cool and pays them no mind.

So I decide I will help him along and toss the football a bit out of his reach and a girl dove for that ball like it was the last nut on earth and she was a squirrel. She tosses it quite well back to Baylor and I say, “Do you want to take my spot? I am kind of sick of throwing it.”

She squeaks out a yes and is now followed by the rest of the squad who magically develops a hankering for some football tossing.

Now it is Baylor, twelve girls and he says nothing.

Not a chirp, a whistle of even a grunt.

He passes the football to them, they fight over who passes it to him and then they make pyramids in the pool, get yelled at by the lifeguard and do it all over again to try and get his reaction.

Still he remains a catatonic young man who makes Dr. Kavorkians’s patients look like a ball of laughs.

The girls finally give up, head out with their chaperones and Baylor comes and sits next to Dan and I. Dan asks him if he got any numbers.

Baylor says, “No, they did not seem interested.” :sad2:

I told him if he had been on the Titanic he would have drowned because nobody specifically told him to get on a life boat that was ½ empty.

Then I said, “What do you think they thought about you? There were all these girls begging for your attention and you did not ask one of them there name, where they were from, how old they were, when the competed….nothing! They probably thought YOU were not interested in them and were just a stuck up brat!”
He looked at me like I had two heads and the light bulb finally clicked.

All of a sudden he wanted to go get us refills in our drink mugs, even though they were not empty! That kid stalked the food court hoping for a second chance to redeem himself. Even when we got back to our room which was thirty feet away, he kept going back under the guise the mugs needed to be topped off! :cool2:

We freshened up for the evening and took the boat

to Raglan Road since we had canceled our Wave resie and if you would like the review of that…head over to the Dining Review!!!!

Oh my gosh, that's awesome!! :rotfl2:

I'm not sure whether to pity Baylor or not. Do you think it's something he'll clue into sooner or later? In the meantime his cluelessness is prime fodder for your TR's so I don't think I'll pity him just yet. :lmao:

I never see such interesting license plates/vampire processionals when I'm on vacation....screaming, hysterical mothers and obnoxious teenager stories I've got but on the DIS boards, who doesn't? :confused3

I hope Treynor recovers quickly. Sending good thoughts and prayers. :thumbsup2

Oh MAN your Baylor is my Tyler- it's EXHAUSTING being a parent, isn't it?! :rotfl:

Wishing Treyner a speedy recovery.

LOL about Baylor and the girls!! :lmao:Maybe being clueless will be a good thing - he can concentrate on his studies or something...

Oh my gosh....where do I begin?!! I just found your TR and have spent the last hour and half catching up.

First of all - CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR MARRIAGE!!! What a beautiful couple you are! Loved the dress, loved the shoes (were there any? If not loved them anyway!), loved the happy faces and beautiful family!!

Second - Loved both the massage surprise and your new purse!

Third - I agree with the smoking and how WDW chooses to place smoking spots. For the most part (since I had 2 smokers on our last trip) these spots were secluded and didn't interact with food areas but I remember this smoking spot very well. On a funny note - when you mentioned B.O., (and my DS24 is going to kill me if he knew I was posting this, on our first day at WDW on our trip in 2010 and it was DS24 & DS18 first visit, our room wasn't ready until almost 4:30 p.m. DS24 has had an issue this past year with no deoderant seeming to work so needless to say, after the plane ride, walking around Epcot in 85+ weather for 5 hours, he desperately needed to shower and change his t-shirt. We had a 4:45 dinner reservation at Teppan Edo and since the room wasn't ready until almost 4:30, we had to cancel that ressie so he could shower and change. This was recurring through our trip - a few hours in the sun and 3 different deoderants and it was back to the room to shower and change :rotfl2: Poor guy - now at least he only has this problem under one arm :rotfl:) I know...I'm a bad mommy!

Four - Prom pics were beautiful - your daughter looked stunning and so happy!

Isn't it funny how each kid is different yet alike? I have 5 kids (4 boys and 1 girl) and each have their own pecularities. I wanted to take a moment to tell you how sad it made me that your friend passed away :sad1: You had a long friendship and it sounds like she had a great disposition in spite of it all. I can sympathize on how short life is (in 1994 my hubby died at a hotel in Kissimmee a week before Christmas - we had traveled to FL from Oregon and he was excited to take his kids to WDW but with his heart problems, I think the long trip was too much and he suffered a massive heart attack.) I am so happy that you have someone to share your life with and have a beautiful famly and wish you many more fun laugh-filled adventures for years to come!

I take my kids pics in front of the same gorilla every time we go... It's neat to see how much they've grown since the last time we were there...

Baylor... :sad2: On the positive side, at least you know he's not girl crazy, yet... :rotfl2:

Baylor...:rotfl:

I have to admit that I have been one of those girls a time or two. Actually, when we were in Myrtle Beach, my parents and I were soaking in one of the hotel's hot tubs when a pair of cute, my-aged guys came down and got in another hot tub on the other side of the pool. I decided it was a good time to take a cool off lap in the pool (never mind that it was February). It would've gone great had I not gotten a cramp in my thigh halfway through. Apparently my legs protest to kicking after running a half-marathon :confused3

I like Pangani, but I have to say I prefer the Maharajah jungle trek, simply because they have the tigers.

Dawn, I'm not sure what in the WORLD took me so long to get here, but at least I'm here!!

Congratulations to you and Dan!!!

I was crying, reading about your story. I know what you've been through and I am SO HAPPY, from the VERY bottom of my heart, for you. I love you and I just can't begin to express how good it is to see you so happy.

Ok...it's going to take a while for me to stop crying....*sniffs*

Wow.....Baylor has always been my favourite kid of yours, and this incident just makes me like him more! Haha, he's so cute! It makes me wonder if my little brother is like that....but he's more of a Treyner.

MMMmmm, jalapeno cheese pretzel.....those were VERY good.

I LOVE that you made the reference of God being metro. Everything in nature DOES match! I mean, all the colours go together so well. I love ducks. I think they're very cute and have very pretty colours. Well, the males do, but the females are pretty in their own way.

I also love the meercats! They're so cute!

Wow, that man is carving it out there for everyone to see. So much skill. When I finally get my own place, I would love to get one of those masks from AK. I'm not sure how well it'll match the decor of my place....

Dawn, it's so great to have you back and I hope Treynor feels better soon!

OMG That story about Baylor is a hoot. :lmao: How could he fail to recognize every girl there was flirting with him? :confused3

The girls finally give up, head out with their chaperones and Baylor comes and sits next to Dan and I. Dan asks him if he got any numbers.

Baylor says, “No, they did not seem interested.” :sad2:

:sad2::sad2::sad2:

We both tried... I threw the football over his head and strategically "placed" it about 2 feet from the first girl thinking he would have to say something...such as my step father is a fool. I am sorry. Nothing. Oh well you can lead a kid to water but you cant make him talk to the girls...:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

To everyone: Thank you for the wishes regarding the wedding. It was awesome and I was privledged to marry my best friend. :cloud9:

Oh my! I love that picture of Baylor! He looks so relaxed. A lot of the time he seems to be uncomfortable in pictures (neck injury not withstanding), but that one is just awesome. it just captures him perfectly.

It was a beautiful wedding y'all! So wonderfully them. Dawn & Dan are the perfect couple and such awesome friends!!

Thank you for sharing Pictures and memories from your special day. Your Pics turned out great and you and Carsyn looked beautiful, and the guys looked very handsome. those colors really did go nicely together.

Wishing Treynor a speedy recovery!

Dawn, congratulations!
I turned into a lurker again for the past year :(
But I had to come out of the shadows to say congrats. :goodvibes
You all look fab-u-lous! :lovestruc
I am truely so happy for you and Dan. I did have a little tear.

Loving the new TR. You are keeping me hooked! :rotfl:
Can I print them all out to make a book to entertain me on my flight? Lol. J/k. :lmao:

Baylor certainly is growing up fast! :thumbsup2

I'll try to stay out of the shadows and be more active.

Sarah

Bless his heart, he is so cute! I think it is better that he is shy though! Guys are cuter when they don't realize it. ;)
