We went to Disneyland last September and really struggled with some of the experience. My dh and I really really walked away from the trip thinking we were done with Disneyland for the forseeable future even though we have been a die hard Disney family. Well, the future has gotten here faster than I thought because my son graduated this year and going to Disneyland is what he wants to do for his graduation trip.
We are looking at going sometime between August 26 or September 9th for about a week with four or five park days. Our touring style is park hopping, using single rider lines and taking breaks mid day. Last year we did Oogie Boogie but aren't interested in doing it again. What I'm wondering is will there be a better time crowd wise with in that span? It seems to me that it is a transitional time because schools will hopefully be back in session, Labor Day is in the middle of it and the beginning of the Halloween season which seems to have gotten very very busy. I have no idea what is going on with the season passes though. I haven't kept up with Disney news because we were going to be taking a break so I don't know how things are in the park and what has changed since last fall. We went before Genie+ started so that is a whole new thing for us too.
I was also wondering if anyone has experience with using mobility scooters in the park. I had a stroke 2 months ago and although my balance has recovered and I can walk pretty good now my stamina is so low now and I get tired so quickly that I am 99% sure I will have to have a scooter. It's possible that I will be able to walk around different lands and stand in some of the lines but I also think it's very probable that there will be much of the time where I will not be able to and will need to scooter to help me get around have a place to sit when my legs give out. It's honestly an extremely overwhelming idea for me to go. Hopefully I will be much stronger in a couple months but even so . . . . . . . does anyone have advice on how to do Disneyland with a scooter and easily tiring? I would love to see World of Color and Fantasmic but don't know how it works with a scooter.

I'd really like to find out how World of Color will work with a scooter. I watched a
