Headed back "Home" in just 2 days!!!

Just had to share! We are leaving this coming Friday (day after tomorrow) for our second trip to Orlando this year We will be checking in at AKV on Sunday and staying until Thursday. This will be our very first trip to AKV and we are soooo excited!!! We have 2 boys (11 & 6), is there anything that we really need to make sure we do at the resort?

We have our bathing suits all packed up... Mickey here we come again

Have a great time! Check the activities that are offered daily at the resort. Perhaps the stories around the firepit at night may be something your family will like. I especially enjoy talking to the CMs that are stationed around the walk by the animals. They are very eager to tell about the animals and the countries they themselves are from.

We have just a bit longer wait than you have.

Us too, our first stay in a 2bdr at BWV. I'm quite excited and as soon as I get over this bout with strept (sp?) throat I'll be even more excited. Fevers are horrible aren't they.

Thanks for the suggestion, Bobbi! My 6 year old LOVES animals, I think he and I will go and check the CMs out!

We arrive at AKV on Monday DH & I stayed at the AKL last fall, but DD and DS have never been to that resort at all. You'll love it!
Make sure the kids see the night vision viewing of the savannah (check bulletin board by Boma washrooms for times) - very cool!

Have fun Coach! We went by AKL a couple of weeks ago and ate at Boma. It is a beautiful resort.

Have a great time. I'm jelous of people who can do shorter trips. We usally do one long one 2 weeks or more. This year is the first time we are only doing one week. I had to use some vacation for maternity leave this spring. have a great time and enjoy boma's.

I love Boma's. Their soups and hummus are to die for!!!! Have fun! When we stayed at AKV in January we loved taking our breakfast out on the balcony watching the animals having their breakfast on the Savannah. It's a wonderful and amazing resort! I can't wait for our return visit in January '09
