HEA post party question

We are trying to maximize our time to do rides while guaranteeing a decent spot for Happily Ever After. I see the post party starts at 8:20 with the fireworks starting at 9:20. What time should we get there for a decent spot? (It’s just 2 adults - we don’t need to be in the front row or anything like that.) Just debating if the party is still worth it if we still have to camp out an hour or so before.

I would get there at least 45 minutes prior to the start of the show. The garden gets crowded, but certainly not as crowded as the hub.

We do the pre party and walk in 5 minutes before. About half the people move forward towards the gate and there ends up being plenty of room. For the post party I would check in at least 10-15 minutes prior.
