I find it helps alot when using Disneys website.
Thank you. I was not pressing the 9:00PM time, thinking there was only one time. In desperation I pressed that, and then it did make my reservation.

Just to clarify, this wouldn’t be a reservation. This is just adding a reminder of the HEA time for the particular day you’re interested in watching them. Ie, not a fireworks party res—it’s analogous to adding the 3pm parade time to your schedule so you remember to catch it. You probably know this but figured it couldn’t hurt to mention!

So I’m not gonna be there on those days but out of curiosity, if 50th fireworks end on March 31st and HEA fireworks start on April 3rd, does that mean no fireworks during that weekend in between? That seems unlikely, right? Especially for such a busy time!

Disney Enchantment ends on April 2.

There will be a day when HEA dessert parties are released.

Does anyone know if historically they’ve always announced reservation release dates prior to actually releasing them, for new fireworks shows? Would they really just drop them with no warning? When asked, cast members seem to be instructed to respond “pay close attention to the website and blog…” so you’d think theyd piss a lot of people off if they bypassed their own advice and did a random drop, right?!

As a whole, I do not know? I’ve experienced both scenarios while booking reservations for this trip. Round up rodeo reservations were supposed to open on a certain date and time, but past the 60 day mark for my trip. Clearly they had tech issues, and the slots ended up being released in chunks throughout the day. Same with Fantasmic dining packages for DHS. It was sporadic. I know this because I had dining alerts set and my phone was going crazy all day long as the sporadically released more times. Also with people changing their reservations… LOL.

The other scenario was for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. They did not release the time slots at midnight 60 days out. Instead, it was past the 60 days, and around 9 PM. Once again dining alerts were going off for about an hour while they release chunks of time slots. I’m in the Eastern/Disney time zone.

So who knows for these dessert parties?!? We do have a Fireworks After-Party reservation for MK on March 31st, and those were available at the 60 day booking window.

I’m not an IT person, but can’t understand how this delay is IT related if the dessert parties already exist in the app …
But also can’t find a business reason for the delay..
Could it be that one person just forgot to post them? lOL

I kind of doubt that scenario. We can all second guess Disney, and in my brain (because of the opening of Tron and HEA) that week and the entire week is bonkers. MK is sold out for most if not all, that week. If I had known prior to the 60 day mark I would have planned our parks better. My bad, so sad :crazy2:

I have never wanted anything so close to the start date. So, I have no experience with waiting for the experience just to show up.
