My not-so-favorite laundry incident is Disney related.

My DH loves Cape May, and at the end of every meal, they give you a handful of saltwater taffy. On one trip, my DH was so grateful, the CM gave him an extra handful. Well, he was wearing a pair of cargo shorts, so he shoved some into each pocket.

You can imagine what it was like when I pulled those shorts out of the dryer! They were covered with taffy, along with everything else in the load. I was so mad! He helped me clean everything, and he no longer puts taffy into his pockets. Lesson learned.

PSA: Use Scotties brand tissues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to do this all the time as a teen, and it would frustrate my Momma to no end.

We discovered that Scotties brand tissues when left in the washer, actually get 'softer' and don't shred to bits when washed and dried.

Hehe, I always joked about writing the company and asking if they meant to make their tissues 'washable'.

I get tissues, napkins, pens, crayon, various screws and bolts, money, coins, chap stick, guitar pick, DS games.Once a tool came out of the washer from DH's pocket. I do check the pockets but it's better to shake out all the clothes.

He's a devil dog, and a bold one at that. He just went berserk barking at the front door for no apparent reason. It's 10:30 at night! Stupid dog!

This is one of my biggest pet peeves with DH. I told he would have to start washing his own clothes if he couldn't dispose of his tissue properly. Gross, Gross, Gross. This was 2 weeks ago.

And here I thought that my DS7 was the only one that did this . However, I have problems with the left over debris in the washing machine

teach him how to blow a snot rocket, no sniffing, not tissues. problem solved.
