Tons of great pictures--as usual! I saw on Facebook but fun to hear stories behind them now!! Loved the sunset pictures! Also good too know about taking pictures of the art work! I am guilty of this so no more! Makes sense though--I must admit it did cross my mind as I snapped away!

I love starting the trip at DTD and ya'll seemed to made a very productive visit. Maybe the plane troubles were really extra Pixie Dust in disguise!

Okay...very excited to read about what made Day 2 so wonderful!

Wow, that was a huge update! Sounds like a great way to spend your first night. That is so awesome Josh made a light saber...love it! He definitely got into the Disney spirit right away.

The Lotso vinylmation is so cute. Bummer you didn't get the penguin one you wanted though.

It was such a great first night! I think we will definitely spend the first night like that again!

He is a Disney convert for sure!

I really liked the Lotso and that wasn't our last Toy Story one! I was upset about it but there is always next time!

I loved DTD at sunset it is so pretty all lit up!

I didn't get in trouble for taking pictures but I realized afterwards there was a sign about it!


It was a great night! I knew it would be mine and Josh's only chance to check it out so I wanted us to see it all! I am very happy we got the extra day but I am pretty terrified of flying now!

We have a Nikon D80 it's the same one that the Photopass Photogs use. We are newbies to using a good camera and we have just begun to mess around with it so for not being able to use all of the neat techniques it's capable of we still take great pics! We really love it and it is a great camera!

When I saw that your picture was of DTD, I totally knew where your heavenly mashed potatoes were! I love the rotisserie chicken and potatoes from WPE. So good just thinking about it now.

D80 is a great camera! I have a D90. Where did you get the strap? I absolutely adore that and must have one (or one similar) now. Did you find it there on one of your trips?

Oh my goodness I love mashed potatoes and now I need some after seeing those photos. I went to wolfgang pucks a few years ago and wasn't really impressed, but I am going to try again and order something with the mashed potatoes!!! Too bad about the meatloaf tasting odd though, it looks delicious! Love all the pics you took, Your TR is a treat so far.

How does the room size compare to an All Stars? My mom and I just did All Star Sports. We thought it would be tight for 4 people. Was Pop tight for 4?

Your pictures make me want to visit Downtown so badly on my upcoming trip (maybe we'll be able to squeeze it in for some Christmas shopping). If not though, you did provide enough awesome pictures to hold me through until the next time I get there. Oh, and those mashed potatoes...they had my mouth watering. They look soooo good.

Glad Josh is a quick convert. My family took my sisters' boyfriends with us on our trip last January (their first trip) and the two of them were hooked almost instantly. It's great being able to share Disney with new people and having them love it as much as you do.

Mashed potatoes are my favorite comfort foods

It just depends on what you order. I am sorry you didn't have a great experience though! The mashed potatoes are great and so is the margerita pizza!

It wasn't bad for 4 people but we missed the extra mirror that the All Stars had. My mom and I always woke up before the men so we had all the room to get ready so it didn't bother us any.
