HE closed while we are there :( still worth it to get Park to Park tickets?

This will be our first trip to UO/IOA and I'm feeling REALLY overwhelmed!!! I read that if you want to do H.E. you'll need a park to park ticket. Our kids are HUGE Harry Potter fans so we were bummed to see HE will be closed during our days. Is it still worth it to buy park to park? or just do one park one day and one the other?

If you want to spend a cohesive period immersed in Harry Potter, then buy park to park tickets. The two parks are easy to skip between (less than a 5 minute walk from entrance to entrance). It will also allow you to take advantage of EE both days, if only one park offers EE while you are there. There is a huge amount of detail in the HP lands and an evening display. So much fun to go with young HP fans.

Agree with Jangles - the parks are literally right next to each other - we just treat them as one big park
