HDR & Aperture (OS X)

I've been using Aperture and the Photomatix plug-in to process my HDR photos. Now that Aperture is being discontinued by Apple, I'm going to need another solution. The new Photo application doesn't seem to support plug-ins so I'm guessing I'll be stuck with one of the Adobe products. I'm really not a fan of Adobe in general and hate their subscription-ware product focus. Given that, what other avenues are there for processing HDR photos on the Mac under Yosemite?

You can use photomatix as a stand alone app, just export out of Photos to a .tif, or what I do, I put my .CR2 (Canon RAW Files) right into Photomatix Pro.

I suspect that's exactly what I'll do. I had used Photomatix as a plug-in so long I forgot that its also a standalone application.

Hate that I'll have to do all the export/import thing overtime I want to process a picture though. Thanks.

That's how I always did it, I felt the plug in was too slow.
