hddr vs polynesian aloha show

I have the aloha show reserved but am wondering what you all like better on both the food and entertainment end. I'm taking my 2 boys 5/8. I booked the aloha thinking that would be more unique offering to them since they have never been to Hawaii but we live in colorado and do chuckwagon dinner type things from time to time.

I see lots of love for the hddr but haven't read much about the aloha show.

are there any nights that the hddr don't run like the aloha?

Where is the show and how do you get there easily?
