HDDR-- Cat 2 or 3?

We are trying HDDR for the first time. I have Cat 2 reserved, but I'm wondering if my children (6&8) will have a better vantage point from Cat 3? Do you still get any performer interaction with Cat 3?

I studied hard before I booked and chose Cat 3 with purpose and so glad I did. We loved our seats! Great view but removed. Yes we had characters come up a few times. I can't imagine I would ever book anything else.

Totally agree with the previous posters. We love category 3. My kids were actually disappointed when we were upgraded to category 2 and were seated on the main floor a couple years ago!!!

We sat in Cat 2. One of the tables on the floor in the back. The view was fine- we were right in the middle of the action. However, I wouldn't hesitate to book Cat 3- esp if I was paying out of pocket as it is a little less expensive. It is relatively small in there. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I'm in the minority here. We did NOT like being upstairs. We had a pole in front of one of my kids, and if you face the table your back is to the stage, and judging by the pictures from Hopper Fan, we were in the exact same section. Proof that what some people love others didn't. BUT, the good news is you get a great idea from those pictures! We did not have much character interaction at all upstairs, but my son had a spotlight put on him (as a joke) at one point...
