HDDR ADR luck?

I am not going to WDW for quite a while. I ws curious just to see if HDDR books up quick. It seems like no matter what date I plug in for an ADR the tier 2 or 3 is never available for 5 or 7:15 show. Has anyone that made ADRs recently for that able to get an ADR or is it close to impossible? I'm hoping that it is easier to get when you can do the 90+10 and get a jump on other people. I'm an obsessive planner and I'm trying to decide the order to do my ADRs when the time comes in May ( I know a long way off).

I booked on my 90th. day, 4th. day into the vacation, tier 2 @7:15pm for 4...

I booked 90+2 out got tier 3 5pm

I was able to get tier 2 at 88 days for the 5pm show on a saturday

I was able to get tier 2 for the 7:15 show at 90+7 days out. I had intended to do the show on our arrival date but they only had tier 3 seating available when I called.

We got ADRS at HDDR less than 90 days in for July 15, 2009. It is for party of 5. We chose to be in TIER 3... It worked out great for us. So 90 days out plus you are probably in good shape.

I booked HDDR for Sept 13 Cat2 7:15, we are going on the 3rd day into our trip.

I booked for my 90+10 day on the 28th and was able to choose any tier for any time... I went with cat 2 for 7:15!

I suspect though... it does sell out rather quickly in the 2-3 categories.

At least I know it is possible to get. When my time comes to book next year, it will probably be on my 90+5 days so it looks like it may not be a problem.

I booked at our 90+6 day and got tier 2 @ 5PM for 6.

it took me a couple of days to get it during free dining, but i eventually did. no luck at the 90+10 or +9 day mark, but then plenty of openings when i tried again at +8, so maybe there was something screwy with the system

Yes! I just got one. I tried all day to get into HDDR for two different dates and the two early shows. It was my 90+6 day.
