Ok so I have a 15 month old who is a night owl and if he has a second nap stays awake til 11:30pm! I managed to get a reservation for HDD at 9:30pm but do you think it will be too late and/or inappropriate for someone so young? How long does it take to get from the parking lot to the Hall (there's a bus to take right?) Also, since I booked late 28 days out does that automatically mean that we will be seating upstairs and is the view bad from there especially with little ones? I'm looking forward to going but at the same time wonder if I should wait for a different trip to do it at an earlier time.... :confused3

There won't be a lot of babies there at 9:30, but it is Disney World!! No reason not to have kids there, really. I'd remove him if he started crying or being a general pain in the buttinski, otherwise have fun.

I wouldn't cancel the whole thing even if you're going to be upstairs - the upstairs views are fine. And it isn't even for certain you'll BE upstairs because the 9:30 show usually fills up last.

We did a last minute trip and booked HDDR 9:30 for two on the same day in August. Ended up on the floor up front (not front row, center, but in the front).

The seats in the balcony are great. That is where we were the first time we went. The last time we had the worst seats. We were in the front row, but it was all the way to the left side of the stage and from some of the seats it wasn't a very good view. I still loved it, anyway. It is such a great show!

Thanks so much! Looks like I'll keep the reservation and hope for some good seats!

Hi
It's been quite a few years since I've been there. I remember that it was a lot of fun. I don't want to discourage you from taking your baby, but I have a very active granddaughter, and I just know that my attention would be on keeping her occupied and I know I would miss a lot of the show. You know your child and if you think that he will be happy during the show, then keep your reservations. Have a great trip!!!

I've been to Hoop 4 or 5 times, all at the 9:30 show, and I've never seen anyone sitting in the balcony. The last time I went was the most full, I was at a table near the back, but there was still a row or two of tables at the back that were empty.

We went in 04 and also booked last minute and had to take the 9:30 time. It ended up working out great. Our dd was just turning 2 on the trip. She ended up taking a nap and was up for the whole show, not only was she up but she was happy and didn't give us one bit of trouble. She was mesmarized(sp) by the talking and singing. We also got a seat on the floor with a great view of the stage so I wouldn't worry about that either. The servers paid alot of attention to her because she was the youngest there and she ate it up. Noone was staring at me or anything for having such a young kid out at that hour, maybe if she was screaming and carrying on they would have but she was sooo happy. I don't remember exactly how long it took to get to the hall but I remember it being a pain so give yourself time. Have fun.
