HDD vs. Dessert Party for Welcome Party?

I am thinking of ideas for a welcome party and am leaning towards doing an Epcot dessert party or dinner at the Hoop Dee Doo for between 20-30 people. They are about the same price but at the Dessert Party, it would be alcohol only (our group has drinkers and we would rather serve alcohol than desserts) because food would be too much. Anyone know how much it is to add easy foods like Sliders or nachos per person? At the Hoop Dee Doo, everyone would get food, alcohol, and entertainment but it doesn't get them in the parks and they likely won't have park tickets. Any recommendations?

For our wedding the next night, everyone will see Wishes from the Napa Room.

The way I look at it, most people only really have enough guests to do a dessert party when they are getting married or having about renewal. But you can go to Hoop Dee Doo Revue any time.

It is easy to add savory food to a dessert party in addition to or instead of desserts. Your planner can send you menus, or you can check out the ones I have here for ideas. But all menus are completely customizable, so you can have whatever you want: http://disneytravelbabble.com/disney-weddings/sample-catered-event-menus/

Thanks, Lurkyloo! Somehow I never ran into those menus!! It says that sliders are $12.50/ guest. If these were served as a buffet, does that mean that there would only be one slider per guest or would they replenish if people took more than one? lol

I really appreciate all of your help!!!
