HBO's Game of Thrones Season 5....current episodes, no future spoilers

I think that's why she returned to the wall. I think she has her attention turned to Jon -- she misinterpreted her vision (oops!) and now may believe he is the one rather than Stannis.

Possibly. There's clues pointing that way. She also could know something she needs is available at the wall, something she's always seeking and was prominently shown in the episode.

Does anyone remember the first ep of the season where that witch told her she would outlive her children? Well Tommen is the last and something will happen to him. That, coupled with this whole disgraceful experience is going to make her lose her mind.

Dear Lord in heaven, completely bonkers vengeful Cersei with Franken Gregor at her disposal. How much power will Qyburn wield?

King's blood?

What or who will she use it for? Does she even know at this point? It's widely assumed what her actions will be, and that definitely is possible. She may have entirely different ideas and be taken by surprise along with us in the audience.

So what is your take on the body count?

Stannis - Dead. From what I've heard this part od the story is past the books or changed. So in my opinion they didn't show the killing blow to give GRRM time to come out with the next book.

Sansa and Reek - Alive. I think they were just jumping into a snow bank so they could escape.

Myrcella - Dead.

Arya - Alive of course but I think her blindness will go away. My best guess is that Sam will meet up with her and find a cure while training to be a maester. Second guess is that she will finally become truly facless and her blindness will be lifted.

Daenerys - Alive and I think the Dothraki will come to her side when they realize she is the ultimate rider, she rides a dragon while they just ride horses.

Jon Snow - Dead but soon to be alive again. Magic is back with the dragons and I'm pretty sure he'll be back.

Did I miss anyone?

DH assured me Sansa and reek were jumping into a snow bank after I yelled at the television "So you jsut dropped Myranda to her death from a ledge and now you're going to leap to "freedom" over an even steeper ledge??"

That better be some deep snow.

PS...am I the only one who wants Dany to end up with Jon Snow? I mean, come on...a song of fire and ice! Duh.

Yea, the snow is not really believable. After the melting they had over the past few days that snow pile is almost solid.

I'm 100% behind the Jon and Dany match. If there is going to be a good/happy ending that's the only one.

I agree, the Sansa/Theon leap seemed pointless. With Ramsay still walking around with impunity I'm not looking forward to that storyline next season. Where in the heck are we supposed to believe they can possibly escape to or hide? They didn't make a point to show us the theft of that key or the dropping of the same key so prominently for no reason. That storyline is too much for me and I'm beyond impatient for Sansa to do more than spout a couple empowered lines. I want her to solve the Ramsay problem.

Starting book one I assumed Dany and Jon were the answer and I liked it. I don't see it that way now. I do think ice and fire is the answer, just not in quite that way.

Eh, I've heard from other sources that Harrington has been confirmed for Season 6. I'd be VERY surprised if his character was gone for good. Especially since, in the books, they've gone to great extent to explain why (if he were the recipient of re-animation magic) he would not suffer from the issues that other reanimated persons (of which there are at least 3, possibly 4, known to be walking around Westeros) experience.

Key? Sansa used a corkscrew to escape her room.

The quotes I read reportedly coming from the actor himself read like carefully scripted double-speak to me. Maybe I've just been listening to lawyers parse syllables for too long, but based on the quotes and on the storylines I don't believe the actor or Jon Snow are gone.

I know it looked like a corkscrew, but I wasn't sure if it was meant to be a key. Either way, the way they filmed everything to do with it was done so heavy handed you could feel the anvils falling. I'm sure we'll see it return next season -- I'll probably cover my eyes.

uhh... they're jumping into Winterfell's moat... The moat is clearly seen when they throw Myranda off.

And the "fire" already survived certain death, and emerged with baby dragons. We aren't supposed to think that "ice" will find a way to be reborn as well?

Can someone explain to me why Dany dropped the ring? It felt so dramatic, and yet, I could not remember the point of the ring and why this was important!

Anyone else notice the StarWarseque moments? First with Ar
ya pulling off all the masks till she gets to her own face. Like Luke Skywalker in the cave in Empire Strikes Back.
Then near the end with Tyrian saying he missed Varys and Varys responds " I know " (which I knew he was going to say) sort of like Han Solo and Princess Leia scene in Empire Strikes Back
