HBO's Game of Thrones: Season 4

I was too tired to watch it last night, so DH (who is home sick today) and I watched it this afternoon. All I can say is "Just Desserts!" Yet at the same time, I feel kind of sorry.

: :yay:

I have not read the books, but I think I know who is responsible for what happened....but I could be wrong. (its the last person whom you would suspect)

That's kind of hard b/c the way things have been going with this series, everyone is a suspect :goodvibes

I found that this series is different than many others and I have finally figured out why (don't ask why it took me so long :p). The stories we are so used to almost always have a happy ending where the cavalry usually comes in and saves the day. GoT, on the other hand, has more of a real-life feel to it. Things that are happening are things that would have actually happened in the middle ages or during other times in history.

It was either Kristen Shepard or Maggie or Colonel Mustard;)

They actually showed you who did it in the episode, but you would have had to been paying very careful attention to see it. ;)

Maybe we should have a list of where we've seen or heard people on the show before? Mostly to place names and faces.

You can easily use imdb for that, it's a good website.
My favorite "HEY!" moment is that Joffrey was the kid near the end of Batman Begins.

I was going to suggest imdb as well. I often go look up a cast if I see many familiar faces that I can't place and click through their profiles. I'm sure I did that for GoT at one point too.

I had to look
I wasn't sure how it was done but that was who I thought had done it.

Buh Bye Joffrey. I haven't read the books so that was a shocker. What I did miss was Jaime's reaction. I should have save the episode but whacked it on my dvd. Finally a death I could be OK with. The red wedding, Ned Stark oy vey.

Very closely. For anyone interested, buzzfeed shows who did it.

Wow, that's what I get for stitching while watching the episode. I missed that whole thing by listening and not watching.

I saw Batman Begins in the theater again the night Dark Knight Rises opened (they were having a Dark Knight Trilogy screening), and when the fake cop shoved Jack Gleeson's character, most of the audience applauded. :rotfl:

I couldn't resist and had to look! I didn't pick up on it and I'm very surprised that it went right passed my DH  He's usually very good at picking things like that up.

I knew who had done it and watched twice and I still missed it!

So glad to see another "positive" death... I did see the specifics until I watched buzz feed but I was pretty sure they were responsible. As now her daughter is the Queen right????

Do you mean granddaughter? I don't think so. The previews for next week show the grandmother telling her that her situation just improved and Margery was saying "What do you mean? I was going to be the queen?" I imagine they will be scrapping over who the next king is, so even if she was to remain queen, I bet it doesn't last long.
