Hawthorne Suites or HI Sunspree?

Both these hotels have $79 rate--Hawthorne for 1 bdrm and kidsuite for Sunspree --at hotelkingdom.com for 10/6-10/11. I have read good reviews on Hawthorne and not so good on Sunspree. I have 4 kids, 9,7,4,2 and will be going in Oct. I don't think that the pool is heated at Hawthorne and that is selling point for us. I know you get free breakfast at Hawthorne, but couldn't tell w/ HI Sunspree. We stayed at DD Marriott for $29 rate and hope that something like this comes available next year, but for mean time,this is the best we can afford. Thank you for any information!
