I cant make up my mind, so which do you like better? Hawthorn suites lbv or country inns and suitess lbv? give the good, bad, and the ugly on both:jester: I was thinking HIFS but decided that it was too kid oriented for me and husband, (no kids)

I've stayed at the Hawthorn Suites LBV in 2001 and had a good experience. Our room was very large, I loved having the kitchen area with full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, etc.... The pool area was small, but adequate. The food for the breakfast in the a.m. was average. It was a short drive to Downtown Disney, and being on Palm Parkway, it felt like we were in our own little area.

I've never stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in LBV, but, have stayed at that hotel in 4 different states. The hotel has a very warm homey feeling when you walk in, pretty much the pool and food have been average at the locations that I have stayed at. I don't know if the Country Inn and Suites has a full kitchen, if that matters to you or not.

I guess for me, I'd decide with the rate, I don't think you'd have a bad time at either hotel.

I've never stayed at the LBV location, but I've checked out their website and they have rooms with a king bed and a big (whirlpool?) tub that looks nice. I have stayed at other CI&S and they are usually nice and clean. I've also read that the HS is nice.
