Ok, completely unable to decide where to stay. Traveling May 26-June 2 with a party that is (according to Disney) 4 adults, two of whom are older kids ages 21 and 18, and one child (14 year old). Currently booked one room at the Polynesian with a garden view. Room alone is $2915. We could (1) keep the Polynesian (which I really like) or (2) switch to Beach Club with a single room or Port Orleans with 2 rooms for about $600-700 less for either option. We'll spend the most time at MK (at least one evening EMH, probably two, as well as a full day), and a full day at Epcot, AK, and HS, with perhaps another half day at AK or Epcot. We'll have one day hanging out at the resort/pool. That extra $600-700 could go towards food/souvenirs (or back in my bank account). I've pretty much eliminated the one room option at Port Orleans - those trundle beds are not meant for a 14 year old and that's a pretty cramped space for basically 5 adults.
Last trip we stayed at Poly with 4 adults and that was fine (our oldest son couldn't go last time). Any thoughts on how a standard room at Beach Club would be for 5 adults?
I really, really dislike Disney buses, which is why I'm pretty hesitant to stay at French Quarter (though we've stayed at POR in the past). I also am a big fan of being able to monorail to MK or Epcot.
