Hi everyone. I wanted to let everyone know my updated information. So much has changed over the last couple of weeks! My doctor up here that diagnosed me with systemic lupus sent me to a specialist over 2 1/2 hours away. They were able to get me in right away which was a blessing. After going through all of the tests that were done, and checking me over, the specialist said I do NOT have Lupus! I do still have hypothyroidism and this new specialist says that I have arthritis pretty much all over. They are still working out my doses for my meds and I am still dealing with the side affects of my meds. It has been a long road the last few weeks mentally and physically to say the least. During the last few weeks, we have gotten through our DS graduation, packing up the house and dealing with orders. My original orders since first writing this have been canceled. They do not feel that physically I can do that job. However, the same day my orders were canceled I received new orders t that very same base. For us this was great news because it means we will be within 6 hours to where our son will be going to college. Our journey the last few weeks has been really hard on all of us. Having so many unanswered questions was very scary. Now that we have a new game plan, we plan to be able to take our anniversary trip! I have to say this made our family appreciate life a little bit more than before! We intend to live life to the fullest! Again, thank you for all of the kind words of encouragement.
