Having the "we need more points" bug REALLY BAD!

I don't blame your DD! The primary bathroom is gigantic with a true water closet and dual vanities! The secondary is also spacious, especially compared to the additional bathrooms at BLT and Kidani Village.

It's the theme park view category that really stings on the points chart. I don't want the parking lot. VGF has a lot of great "resort views."
I am crossing my fingers that the resort views in the Tower will be better once the construction is done. We do love the VGF resort views. Now if they somehow retro fitted a 2nd bathroom into those 1bdrooms we would be done and DH and I are buying no holding back. And there is room in the VGF 1bdrooms.

I think the golf course will look better when it isn't a dirt pile, but some of those higher views are technically preferred? Not quite sure where the dust will settle, especially if some theme park views are recategorized.

I agree 100%! Two bathrooms at VGF would tip the scale and I would never book anything else in the MK area.

My VGF resale offer from last week was flat out declined. I am putting another offer in today on a different contract. I will keep trying!

Knowing me I will get tired of making resale offers and eventually just take the money I would spend on PVB and add less VGF points direct at an insanely high price. If I planned to purchase 300 PVB that's basically the same price as 250 VGF points and I can use a LOT less in a resort view category. I have a problem! :rotfl:

We are right there with you. Every time I looked at adding on somewhere else my DH says, "okay but only if we can't get VGF." DD talked him into the CCV add on since she is daddy's little girl and he won't say no to her. Then when he agreed to an add on in November we went with the Tower after our guide told us repeatedly he couldn't get VGF points and he couldn't put us on a wait-list that didn't exist.

I'm getting tired of resale taking forever and a day and worrying if ROFR takes it. This will be my last resale contract for now thank God, the next will be direct 🤣🤣🤣

I bought my second before my first closed (and I know I am hardly alone in this cohort 🤣). I did ultimately go with two UY - it was originally bc of the the specific deal but it ended up being the right call bc we use those points exclusively for an annual trip after my original UY banking window.
I did the same thing! Before our first one closed, I already put an offer on a 2nd one, different resort, different UY! 😂 I had FOMO for sure because rofr monster was still hibernating at the time.

It's so hard! Part of me does want more resorts for home resort priority, but then another says hmmm you can book what you need in the fall/December at VGF with a ton of points and use the leftover points to pick up scraps in the spring! CCV is competitive for studios and the holidays in general and PVB will continue to be for resort view so they both have their advantages!

I made my VGF resale offer and the confirmation came through from the broker with an error. I know I didn't make the error because I screenshot my work. LOL I doubt it will be accepted so I am just leaving it alone for now. I don't think this is meant to be for me 🤣

Oh sorry, no. It's the Magnolia golf course that's visible from PVB IT. It's just marred by the constant construction of Floridian Way. The preferred views states "pool or fairway," but in reality this is what you see right now for preferred view:

When I can see this at VGF as the worst "resort view" one bedroom (there is a REALLY bad studio though):

I don't blame you! I don't like the back and forth and being shamed by brokers or correcting mistakes. It is a huge savings though on sold out resorts. Always pros and cons! Once you see how easy direct is you may not want to go back. Points are loaded lightning fast. It also lets me keep nice even round numbers in my dashboard LOL

So if I'm staying at pit resort view I should keep it because thats what preferred looks like?? I would be really upset if I worked to upgrade to prefer and got that view!

I just want one direct to be able to go to MM and then I HOPE 740 points will be enough (i doubt it 🤣🤣) If not I would most likely add more SSR resale

Yeah resort view is the same view, but lower floors. There are some resort views that are set back and you see more IT building than anything else. I think that happens in the duos. Most preferred views are on the side facing the new pool and Fiji and Tuvalu. Those are very nice. Preferred is just a very small category and I am sure everyone will request these nicer views when there are probably less than eight of them in the entire building.
