Having second thoughts about not hiring a photographer

I was thinking the same thing about the pictures. I just received an e-mail from Randy Chapman and for our Escape Wedding, he will be our photographer for 3 hours for $450.00. Half of the money is due upon signing the contract the other half is due the day of the wedding. We both decided, we are spending over $5,700.00 for our wedding, so we want to make sure we have nice pictures, so we are adding Randy for only $450.00.

That is exactly what we have decided to do! We figured, hey if we were to buy the DSP CD of all the pictures for $395, we might as well instead spend a little extra and get a 2nd photographer with Randy. Plus, we still get to use the DPS photographer as a secondary, so we still get to have the photo album that we are paying for in our wedding Escape package (Randy will work with a second photographer, where many others might not). We were going to go with someone else that was more pricey because I loved their photos, but when I compared normal shots wedding shots (not just what they had on their portfolio), I found them equally comparable to Randy's great pictures! And I love Randy's photojournalistic style
