Does anyone know how much they charge for this service? Do they do a good job? I am staying at the Swan...

The costs are going to vary depending on what and how much you want done. I would contact them direct to get exact info and I am sure they will do a good job. They seem to do everything else right.

If they charge the same as the Disney resorts, it is very expensive. We always take our laundry to a dry cleaning and laundry place in the same strip mall that has a steak & shake that is just a few minutes from Disney. They do a great job. You get your clothing back neatly folded and it only costs us about $20 for an entire weeks laundry which includes heavy sweatshirts & jeans. They charge by the pound.

The Disney laundry is a 20 year joke in my family. While I am sure they have improved in recent years (I don't send it out anymore) I can remember when my daughter was 2 (she is 22 now) she was ill after drinking too much fruit punch at the Luau and her favorite footsie pjs had to be sent out to be washed. I received them back the next day and when I opened them to put them on her, they were reduced down to a small doll size. I guess they used very hot water and a very hot dryer! We could not stop laughing but she was crying unfortunately and we reassured her that she could pick out any pair of pjs from the gift shop that she wanted. Good thing we were in Disney and not Vegas or somewhere! Good luck but just so you know there are also laundry rooms you can throw a load in if need be!

Eggleboo: That is a funny story:laughing: I never have trouble doing wash at the moderates, the machines are right near the quiet pools, just gives me an excuse to lounge for an hour or so. But the idea from sherry8253 sound great too. Now if I could just be able to stay at WDW for more than a week, I would have a reason to need the service.princess:

Eleven years ago, my dh and I honeymooned at the Poly. We decided to splurge and send the laundry out before moving on to Marco Island. Two loads of laundry and 60 dollars later, we realized just how much of a splurge it was....
