Having passport stamped in ports

I would really love to have our passports stamped while in St. Maarten. Does anyone know if that's possible, and where it would be done? And in St. Thomas, even though it's an American island, would they stamp an American passport?

I read a thread about this a long time ago, but can't find it through the search.

Im not sure about St Thomas since it's a US Terrirtory....

St Maarten - go to Guest Services before St Maarten day and ask them about having your passport stamped - if they are anything like other cruise lines, you'll give them your passport, they'll get it stamped for you, and then you pick it up later.

So far my passport only has Belize (Carnival cruise).

This month we'll get Mexico and Curacao.

LOL, our passports were dull also until we went to Cabo..lol. We were at the post office and the people in line ahead of us were getting theirs stamped..I said omg..I can get my first passport stamp and we did.

Now to get those stamps in italy and africa I will be good to go.

We gave our passports to Guest Services on our first sea day and asked to have them stamped by customs. Then we picked them up again on our last day -- Don't forget to pick them up! LOL, we forgot all about them until late in the day on Friday!

FYI, the CM at Guest Services was very pleasant and helpful. She did say that it is up to the discretion of the customs agent. If they are cranky, they might not stamp them. We didn't have a problem though. New stamps in our passports from Mexico now!
