Having hard time with hotels

I still have not been able to decide on a hotel. I was thinking of this one

but not sure if it is a good hotel. I really can not afford hojo's or fairfield inn which I would much rather stay in so I guess I am trying to look for a good economy class hotel. We will be in Disney for 2-3 days and going to Universal for 1-2 days. We will be there Sept 11-17.

I would look at a room through Priceline Name Your Own Price. A 3 1/2 star averages for about $50 a night. We have booked through Priceline many times. Most of the hotels are not walking distance but all have free shuttles that run one to two times an hour.

I second trying priceline......back in 2004 we booked a room through priceline at the Hyatt Regency for $40.00 per night!!

We just got the Hyatt in Garden Grove on Priceline for $57 (including tax). It's not walking distance but it's a nice hotel at a cheap price. If you want a cheap hotel at a cheap price that is walkable, we stayed at the Super 8 on Katella over spring break and it was $50. I had a few issues with our stay there but overall it's a pretty decent hotel and there was free parking and even a small free breakfast (cereal and donuts mostly).

We really like the Candy Cane Inn too but it's about $104 I think for the cheapest room with AAA discount. Not sure if that's too much for your budget. It does have a pretty nice free breakfast though and has free parking and a free shuttle if that helps justify the cost. It's also really close for walking.
