Having gutters installed by Lowes

Has you had Lowes install you gutters??
What were the Pros and Cons
We are having a guy come out to give us an estimate for the installtion.

My sister paid for Lowes to fix her plumbing/install new sinks, faucets and toilets. Lowes contracted it out and she got a lot of, "that's not my job, I don't have the tools for that" type of excuses at every turn. To say she was frustrated and furious would be an understatement. Lowes would say it was on the people they hired, the people they hired would say it was on Lowes. If you hire Lowes or Home Depot for a job you are essentially going to get a crap shoot.

I hired Sears to put a roof on my garage. They contracted it out and luckily the company did nice work. However they took back the extra shingles when they left. I didn't kick up a fuss about it though.

Lol on the extra shingles! I finally got rid of some extra leftover shingles that weren't removed after a roofing job. Put them in the dumpster that the deck replacement guys needed. Some extra supplies are just not easy to keep around.

Lowes is all sub contracted. Did major bathroom remodel. Lowes hired a contractor who subcontracted everything. The Contractor sucked. The ones doing the work are great. Took their cards for future work.

You wait all day for the guy to finally show up.
And he tells you they don't install gutters on manufactured homes .
I told the guy at Lowes that we lived in a manufactured Home and he said no problem .
But the installer said he's guy would do it as a side job.

I got kitchen flooring installed by Lowe's and yes, it was subcontracted. I wouldn't do that again; I would go with a company that did the work themselves.
