We flew in Tuesday around 1:30 and checked into the Hard Rock Hotel and then hit the parks until closing. We spent all day Wednesday at both parks. Got in early and rode FJ twice!! we have hit all the rides and Thursday morning I took my dd's in for Ollivanders and my older dd17 got picked to have the wand choose her! Talk about fun! Her friend got picked back in the spring so these two HS seniors are already facebooking how they are both bringing their wands to school on the first day.
Loved the Hard Rock Hotel....we stayed two nights for the express pass and early entrance to HP and it was SOOOOO WORTH IT!! now we are off site and still having fun!! we went to Gatorland today and my dd17 and dd11 did the trainer for the day program..it was so worth the money we all (those two plus dd15, dh and myself) all got to see the whole tour...they even let my dh sit on an alligator!! right now everyone is napping...we are so tired. Did Seaworld and Downtown Disney last night too.
We still have Sat, Sun and we go home Monday night.....LOVING our vacation so far...going to spend the rest of the time park hopping...we have the flex pass so now we will walk around and take in all the sights.

We had a blast. As I said, staying onsite and having the express pass was so worth it. Since we did all the rides as a family, when we went back without the express passes, we just used the single rider lane and I swear, they were even faster then the express pass! We went on quite a few two times, just be going back on line!! Funny...many times on the single rider we ended up with 2 or 3 of us toghter anyway (we are a family of 5)
