Checked into Hojo Plaza yesterday (great hotel, spotty internet is my only complaint) and spent 5 hours at DL. We are WDW veterans and this is our first family vacation here in California. We are so impressed!!!!!!!!! So many rides are better here than WDW. Space Mountain is SSSSSOOOOOO much better! Splash was a little disappointing, but other than that we are blown away at how much nicer, more convenient,etc it is here. We may have to become DL veterans!!!! Off to California Adventure this morning. World of Color tonight. Really looking forward to it!! Have a great day everyone.

May I ask, what tiime did you arrive for checkin and was a room ready? How many atractions did you get in yesterday?

Aladdin Stage show in DCA (see it twice!)
Fantasmic! at Disneyland
Billy Hill and the Hillbillies in the Golden horseshoe
Storybook Canal Ride
Original Tiki Room

What did you think of Pirates, Its a small World, Fantasyland, etc?

Also catch a ride on the railroad and see if you can ride in the Lilly Belle. It was the car Walt dedicated to his wife. It has old nostalgic photos in it and is an awesome experience.

Congrats on finding Disneyland. This WDW vet is a Disneyland Vet as well.

awdsmama, I've stayed at the HoJo many many many times. We've checked in at all times, from 10 am to midnight. The majority of the times we checked in early our room was not ready but it wasn't a problem to check our bags with the front desk, get our parking pass and head to the parks. HoJo is very accommodating for things like that.

That's great! We're WDW vets who will be trying out DL this July, too. We finally made the decision and reserved two rooms at the HoJo. Can't wait!
