So I have been checking SW's site almost daily to see if my flights have gone down- NOPE!!! They went up $26 ($13 each way) Guess I am glad I booked. We passed up Air Tran because of uncertainty in their furture existence, but I hope they are gone by December since it was a $120 pp flight difference!! (and they are part of RAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

We are off to Michael's... I have my eye on that giant 3-D Cupcake pan

Lesley- your new avatar is the CUTEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I am optimistic that MAYBE the flights will come down between now and then, but at least I bought them when they were low (relatively speaking of course )

I bought the cake pan at JoAnns with my 40% coupon. Good thing I got it there and not Michaels! Michaels charges $34.99 for it but JoAnn's only $30.99. It was $18 with the tax!! I am going to use it next week to make a bday cake for DH's grandma. I have been reading online about people who have issues with the cakes finishing at different times (e.g. one side is done first) but it appears those are people who are filling it to the top with batter (who does that??????????? Cakes rise when they bake and that is a DISASTER waiting to happen!! ) Anyway, I am considering baking 1 side at a time and filling the other side with water to even out the baking.... I will let you know how it works out! (Of course I will post pictures!)

Hello everyone!!

I'm so lost with no broadband connection up here in the mountains!!!
The cable guy is supposed to come within the next two weeks!!! For now I have to put the laptop on my kitchen counter and use the phone line. It's such a process!! I miss going on the computer anytime I felt like it.

The weather has been beautiful. Today we had our first mommy and me swim lesson and DS1 fell asleep in the middle of the lesson!! Right in the pool! We were singing a song, dipping in and out of the water and I hear him snoring on my shoulder!! 10am just doesn't work for him

I miss you all and I miss my daily disney talk. I feel so out of the loop up here.

I'll be heading back to NYC for the weekend. DH wants to turn our car in for a new lease. So of course I'm running home for a new car!

I'll speak to you all over the weekend when I'm back in the "real world" with a wireless modum and broadband connection!!

Oh anyway what I was going to say is that I highly doubt my fares for this august trip will come down. Actually the flight going down to MCO is already sold out. But what I am going to do for January is when the fares first come out, I'm going to book them asap. Then any rate I can get below that will feel like a bargain!

Thanks! The moment in that photo was my absolute favorite all time moment at Disney.... maybe the most heartwarming as a parent, so far.

Great pics! I love those moments, I remember the first time the boys met Mickey. It was so cute.

Lesley, I love the memories too. I have a picture of Emily from last trip, and Mickey is holding Em's sippy cup and giving her a drink.
The picture is cute, but the memory of her loving that big old mouse, and of Mickey playing along to being fed the sippy cup, and coming back to the table 4 times to give Em another sip....that's what makes the memories of a lifetime, and what makes me go back!

Hi Gals! Its getting crazy around here with school right around the corner! It def feels like Florida here in Chicago right now! Hot and Humid.....im not complaining this last winter really sucked so i will take this over that anyday!

Ya Kristin our airfare also went up for our trip in Nov...i check everyday, so such luck...maybe closer to the time the airfare will come down. Cant wait to see the Cupcake Cake! Post those pics

Hi, guys. Just checking in. CUTE cute pics, Lesley. YOur boys are adorable.

I haven't been around much. I've been working on something.

Now my dog is sooo sick. I am going to run to Target for Pepto pills and rice and chicken broth. She is violently ill. Remember last Friday when she had the big D all over and DH didn't listen to her/!?!? Well....she has it again and throwing up, too. He wants me to take her to the emergency vet but I HATE that place so I want to hold out til our reg vet tomorrow. It's like she ate something foul. I have never seen her like this. I wonder if it's a bad batch of food? She has been eating this same stuff for a week now but I started making "gravy" for it because she likes it better that way...I wonder if that makes it go bad? It's not the food we started with and she does great with Timberwolf but they stopped selling it so I need to find another dealer. OMG...PITA.

Talk to ya later...I think I have my hands full for tonight though.

Hope your "girl" feels better soon! BOTH our dogs had a virus a month ago. Our vet said there was a virus going around when we took our little one in. Then a week later ,our other one got it! Our vet put them on a medicine that starts with an "M" - long name and it stopped the diarrhea after the first dose! I gave them chicken, rice with a little yogurt and they were much better after 24 hours. Started feeding them normal food again on the 4th day of the meds - they took the meds for a week. It was bad before I got them the meds - I was up with each of them all night letting them out to potty! I felt terrible for them - they just couldn't get comfortable and were pretty listless and lethargic. Hang in there!

Chan, I hope your pup feels better soon! It's really no fun when they have the squirts in the house. Ick! I hope you have a good steam cleaner? I also find that the Nature's Miracle (the Orange Oxy kind) works the best to get the odor and stains out of carpet and upholstery. Unfortunately, I DO have experience with this. hehe!

last night anty would not go to bed he just kept getting up
I was chatting with chan and shel. I got off and he didnt fall asleep til almost 2am
Chris woke me up at 545am as he was leaving to go to work and he is gone for the next 2 days for work

We are going to be one for 2-3 days during Christmas. I called a few weeks ago and they start taking reservations in late August. I just feel this is the best way to enjoy the parks during the holidays and I have never had one person say they did not like it.

It is a lot of $$ but I am sure it will be worth every penny.

Hey Everyone, I home!!!!

We had an awesome time, I can't believe how fast it went, but 8 days was perfect!!!

I have some information on the Cabanas..Big Changes!!! My computer reuter needs to be replaced so I jumped on my neighbors wireless connection with my sons laptop....can't type on this thing!!!

The weather was unpredicatable, but not too bad!!! My DH is going to teach me how to post photos I think we took about 200 not counting my photopass!!

I am ready to book for next year!!!
