Channing - I do love them. I was going to check on line to order more, where did you order them from?

Natalie did Pick a Pearl, she got TWINS!! There was no time to set them it was about 8:30 pm so I am going to set them here or save them for the next trip. I really didn't see anything that WOWed me.

Mare - I am sorry but I missed the candy lady in Japan. We were late for dinner and lost. I saw her quickly going into dinner and I thought I'd see her afterwards but she was done for the evening and that was our last night in EPCOT!!

I had my Grey Goose Slushy it was great!!

The boys LOVED the sea raycers, they doubted me that they would be able to drive them. I love being RIGHT!!!!

I am trying to remember details from the trip but I can't think of anything right now.

OOPs Bobby is here, says this is my chance to learn how to post photos!!!

I was on a mission to find a black tank top with Cindy's Carriage in rhinestones. I saw a lady with it during my quest but I couldn't find it anywhere.:sad2:

She might have purchased it at the Disney Store or on Disneyshopping.com I have the cinderella slipper tank top in rhinestones and a crown t-shirt w/rhinestones that says "fit for an evil queen" :rotfl:

Thanks for thinking of me. :flower3: Aren't those slushies delish!

Sorry to hear about the tree near your room. :headache:

Welcome back! Can't wait to see your photos. How did your nephew like his first trip to WDW??

Hey everyone I'm back for the weekend!! :goodvibes

Loved the country life, but dahling give me Park Avenue :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Seriously, I felt like I was living in my car!! I'm not used to driving everywhere. As soon as I dropped DS4 off at camp, 4 hours flew by I had to go right back and pick him up. And going to the store! What a hike!! We're 6 miles from the main gate of our community, then it's 7 miles to the "town". One day after I picked up DS4 from camp, I went into town to get pizza for dinner. At 1pm in the afternoon! I didn't want to go out driving again later! It's nice to spend weekends up there, but day in and day out it's just different.

So I'm back in the city for the weekend. DH couldn't get away this weekend so we came home to visit Daddy and I needed a real computer connection :rotfl:

So, what did I miss?? What's going on around here??
Mare

OK!! I think he taught me, they are downloading now into photobucket.

Mare - did you ever post photos? Did I miss them?

Natalie came home with such a bad cold. Its so weird in the summer!!!

I have no clue how to do it :sad2:

I don't feel comfortable posting my kids photos online (or their names - as they're really unique). There's just such wackos out there. If this was a private forum, I would - I really feel you gals are my friends. But on a public forum, I'm just not comfortable with it. Maybe it's my NYC paranoia :confused3

It's so easy to trace people's steps. Mention your town, mention your name, a google here and poof found your address! Too scary for me. I try to be as discreet as possible only for my kids sake, not that I don't want to share cause I'd really love too.

Hello! I am new to the boards and anxiously awaiting my next trip to WDW in late August. My family includes my DH, DD (6) and DS (2)! This is DD's third trip and DS's first! Looking to forward to our first time staying in Sugar Loaf! Looking forward to making new acquaintances and sharing stories of a place we all love.:)

I totally understand Mare! My DH is paranoid about me posting pix of the kids online, along with their names and stuff. He wants me to be really careful about the info that I give out. But we are New Yorkers too so I can blame it on that too! :)

MARE~ we already know how to find you, we just have to look down the ziplock aisle at every grocery in NYC! ;) JK, we love our ziplock junkie!

Ya, at first I didn't want MY odd name out there but then people who knew me started using it, lol...so I threw in the towel and just went with it. :confused3

I have met some odd balls (not kelly haha:lmao: she was a really nice normal one), but mostly really nice people at WDW. It's been kinda of - for the most part - fun. Just one or two that I would have been OK not meeting.:rotfl:

Annette...I went to Douglas Paquette dot com..or however the name is spelled. I bought the "preppie pirate" and some brown pink floral ones...the weirdest thing is their patterns match my Vera Bradley bags PERFECTLY...I wonder if they are the same company/different name?? Or somebody is copying patterns and prints....it's neat!:goodvibes

i am still not sure about our October trip..but I went ahead and reserved a cabana for a couple days and got Jojo into the pirate adventure at the GF during our week.:thumbsup2 My first pick date for the pirate thing was already sold out! shocking.:headache:

Chan:)

Welcome! We will be at the GF in late August as well. Maybe we'll see you around. We have two girls, ages 9 and 6. If you see a 9-year-old exasperating her parents with endless questions, and a know-it-all, bossy 6-year-old, that would be us! ;)

Linda

Hey Kristin.....the NYY just beat the living cr** out of the TWINS! WOOHOO!!!

White Sox Rule....Twins Drool

TWINS BEAT SOX - 3 OUT OF 4!!!

I believe in kharma! That's almost a sweep, baby!:woohoo:

Awwww Chan come on! You KNOW you're going to go in October!!!! I would, I wouldn't be able to resist!!! :)

Actually, I buy my ziplocks at Target or Walmart outside the city :) Out of site of my friends and neighbors :rotfl:

Okay, now I know I have a ziplock problem: My SIL gave me a box of ziplocks she picked up in Italy. They're called Kangaroo Pouches. It's a long narrow ziplock (similar to a sandwich size) with two smaller zip pouches on the outside to store three separate items at once. How clever :thumbsup2

But the fact she went Italy and this is what she brings me made me realize I must really have a known ziplock obssession :rotfl2:

Oh, I don't mind my name being out there. I met a few DIS members in June and they were very nice people. We shared a wishes cruise together. It was a great experience that I'd do again.

I'm just more protective of my children. I don't like personalized luggage or clothing. Someone can call their name out and lure them away. This forum is not private. There are psychos who just lurk and can hunt you down by reading clues. It's easy if you mention where you live then they google to see other sites you visit. You may not mention something here, but you might on another site.

I don't mind sharing anything with another DIS member off the board, on the phone or in person. Just not here out in the open for the world to see.

I didn't get to take many photos in June. With pushing the stroller, I never have a free hand to take photos. Maybe in Nov I'll get everyones email addresses and post my photos on a photo site that you all can visit, how's that? See I do want to share:)

I went to Douglas Paquette dot com..or however the name is spelled. Those are so cute!!! They're on my list for Nov. We have our first nights dinner at 1900 Park Fare at 5pm. Funny thing is, we spent 10 days at the GF in June and never ate at 1900 Park Fare because DH said it was too girly. Well, everytime we passed it, the doors would be open and you could see all the characters. So now DS4 wants to eat with the princess. He said to me "Cinderella is so beautiful, Mommy". :lovestruc So back to the GF we go.....

We're going to spend the afternoon we arrive by the YC pool, then head to GF early to check out the gingerbread house and so mommy can shop! I want to hit Basin for bath bombs and Lacy Lady (or whatever its called) for the flip flops. I'd also like to peek at the new cabanas that should be updated by then. Those sound amazing!

I believe in Karma too.;)

Mare...ya..there are crazies out there. People just looking to cause trouble but for the most part I have been lucky and only come across really nice ones. The flip flops are SUPER SUPER comfy!:goodvibes Cute & comfy - what I love.:thumbsup2 OMG...you are so funny with your Ziplocs.:lmao:

Dawn...I don't care about baseball at all...but I hear ya on the first place.:cool1: Plus us IL girls need to stick together.:)

Well...I made my cabana ressies for October and I wasn't told anything about changes in them or in rates.:confused3 Any idea when they'd be new and improved???

Happy day, all!! talk to ya later,

Chan:)

I can't wait to hear about the cabana upgrades! We're planning to go back to the GF in June!! We really loved spending our afternoons at the pool.

Hey, did they have the Wii video games at the pool all summer? One day I found DH and DS4 playing near the lifeguards with a Wii guitar video game. It was near the main pool, by the hair wrapping. They loved it and DH couldn't believe they had the Wii!! It was a huge hit. I just wasn't sure if it was something they did all the time.

Having the Wii in the cabana would be the icing on the cake for DH!! :thumbsup2

YA BUT THEY ARE STILL IN FIRST PLACE AND THATS ALL THAT COUNTS BABY! OH AND BY THE WAY ALMOST ONLY COUNTS IN HORSESHOES.....

I'm sorry, but I can't hear you :confused3 It is still too loud over the roar of excitement of BEING IN FIRST PLACE for their 77th consecutive day (103 days overall :rolleyes1 )and acquiring Ken Griffey Jr. :rotfl:

Interesting series though. Too bad about all that crap being thrown on the field :sad2: White Sox fans usually get a bad rap but first some Cub fans attack a White Sox fan, then some Cub fans attack a Brewers fan and now the Twins' fans start throwing crap on the field...
