It is lots of fun with a newborn (really). My yougest really grew up at Disney. They were just 4 months old the first time they went. I fell in love with those special baby stations in each park. You could just holler and someone would throw you a wipe!


TINKLVR64 - I just got a new Blackberry Pearl too this week. One day I was on it the entire time I "watched" the kids in our pool. I am now a true "crackberry". Just admit it Tink.

Oh Fee Fee i will admit it...i have been on this blasted thing all day....now i just downloaded the ringtone from Spectromagic! I chose the Curve cause i like a full keyboard....Cracked for the Crackberry...im cracking myself up!

It's funny that you are talking about. I just convinced my DH that this would be a good thing for us to do on our December trip (he likes to be pampered, so it didn't take very long), then we had to decide which park to do. He loves MK the best, so that's the one we will try to get. My parents will be going with us, so it will be a special treat for them also. Now I have to wait for the 90 day mark to get here. Good luck with yours, we'll have to share lots of pictures and stories. - Lisa

Have you called and asked when they are starting to take reservations?? I called and one person told me late August and the other said late Sept.

hmmm that might be a little young. Is she closer to 5? I don't know really. It's a REALLY good movie but it's about the Great Depression and how it wound up effecting a lot of diff people from diff walks of life....but there was some adventure and fun in it too. Nothing overly scary or super emotional though. It was SWEET. You're gonna have to use your mommy judgement on this one.

I had Disney dreams last night. I hope Annette and Evie are have a fun time.

Thanks Channing. I sent Lexi with a friend and I am staying home with Lily since Ron is gone. I would really love to see it but I felt Lily was just a bit too young yet.

I tried to call Evie but she did not answer. She must be having a great time!! I think every one of my friends was gone this weekend. We are definately going away next weekend. I need a short vacation to get me through until December.

Hi everyone! Got back from the GF yesterday. Wish I was still there! Have to say that Mousekeeping slipped a bit. Came back to the room one day and found the toilet paper holder (empty) on the counter of the sink. Had DD in the bathroom calling for toilet paper. Also, had white Kleenex in the tissue box when we left for MK. Got back and only the top of the cover to the Kleenex box was stuff with peach color Kleenex to look like a flower and an empty Kleenex box below it. Called Housekeeping to fix the problem. They did.

Our room was ready when we arrived at 11 a.m. The same piece of red ribbon on the floor infront of the slider door was still there when we left Saturday.

Otherwise, had a great time and everything was great. Can't wait to go back next year.

Good morning.

We stayed in Sago Cay. That is the building that we stayed in the last three years, and we stayed in the same room the last three years! I did make the request this year to stay in that room the week before we left. The two times prior to that were just luck.

We at at 1900 Park Fare for both breakfast and dinner. We ate at The Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast twice. Have to say that food was not hot in any of these two places. We also had snacks, lunch and breakfast at Gasparillla's. At lunch we always had hot food because they had to make it for you. We also ate one night at Narcoossee's. Food was good, but server was horrible. He had no personality. He did not like children and it showed.

Overall, we had a blast.

I agree...our housekeeping wasn't quite what it has been over the years either. (We wre there the beginning of July) Although when we would be down on the 4th floor and saw the housekeepers we've had over hte years I bet they are still great....we were on a diff floor and I guess she wasn't as into doing a thorough job as the 4th floor ladies do. We had issues with towels, toiletries, and I agree...they do not touch the floor. The days of them running the vacuum are GONE. Usually I come home with TONS of extra H20 prducts..this time it was a good thing I brought my own stuff from home!! AND for the first time ever at teh GF we had to call down for extra towels!!! The great 4th floor ladies always saw we had used up our 8 towels and wound up leaving us a dozen daily!

Did you receive turndown service nightly?? We did & that lady did a wonderful job and arranged all the girls toys sooo cute and had fun with her job....and (sorry to say it) I even forgot to leave the tip a few nights with hurrying out etc. But she still did a terrific job.

Too bad about Narcoosees. We ate there in July and while it was good...service was OK. The waitress was brusk. She just wasn't warm and fuzzy at all or even NICE...kind of leaning toward FLo from "Alice" haha....(OK..showing my age here...Dawn, you know who I mean right?!? ) The Narcoosees steak has made me ill twice now so that's our last Narcoosees trip. Kinda not worth it.

WEll....hey all!!! Sorry to go on and on....just typing and remembering and reading mammyGinas post reminded me of stuff.

I watched the movie "The Namesake" last night....it was really good. EVen DH liked it. But it was sad too...and made me think. I need to suck it up and be NICE when MIL is here in a couple weeks.

I hope Evie and Annette are having the time of their lives.

I can't believe July is almost over. OMG...panic. I am NOT ready to think about school etc.

hey, kel...i know..i was just thinking last nght i need to get Jojo new soccer shoes and shin guards. I can't get them too soon or she will say they're too tight the first time she goes to put them on for real. ugh. I know her.

I was at Walmrt yesterday and it's sick....no more summer stuff in the aisles...it's notebooks and pencils and glue.

We also ate one night at Narcoossee's. Food was good, but server was horrible. He had no personality. He did not like children and it showed.

The BEST waiter at Narc's is TOM! He is a friend of ours and is supper great and can be supper great with the kiddos, he has none (well furbabies) but is a big kid himself! His wife is in the opening show at MK, and also plays Ariel in the Dreams parade at the MK!

Next time ask for TOM!
