We're off the Mets game today!! Hopefully the 8th win in row!! We have awesome seats behind home plate!! Its just a 3:55 game, I hope Natalie will be alright in the sun for awhile. If not we'll have to take a few walks around, which would actually be nice since Shea is coming down soon.

I get to pack soon, so I am getting excited!! If everyone would stop wearing clothes that need to be ironed that would even be nicer!!

Have fun at the game. The last time I was at Shea stadium it was new, and so were the Mets. Guess that makes me OLD. Don't tell anyone around here, but I used to be a Mets fan. I grew up in PA. I was still a Mets fan in 86 when they played the Red Sox, but I finally saw the light, and am now a proud member of Red Sox Nation.

Good Morning!!

Well the Mets won 8 in a row!! The weather was awesome and our seat were fantastic. Family and Friends were calling us telling us they could see us while they were watching the game.

I just happy they won, I think my DS would like I was bad luck if they lost. It was the first game I've gone to this season.

Hi, guys! I am sitting at MCO waiting to board...which will be soon..so i am making this quick!

Just watned to say HI! And you all know we had a great time. I am happy to be going home though. It's time. It's rainy and foggy here tday, too, so it makes coming home easier...although I ahven't watched any news or much tv so not sure how IL weather is, either!

I found the cutest flip flops in the GF ladies shop....Lacey whatever it's called...

They are Douglas Paquette - in prints like Vera B!! OMG..THOSE were my souvies...lOl..I bought 4 prs of them. I wore one pair to MK and Epcot yesterday and they were like Teva Mush as far as comfort but CUTER!

We stayed til midnight at mk last night and closed the place. we arrivedd back at the GF after 1 am and it felt like it was OURS...there wasn't a soul around. I LOVE that place! I am now envious of you guys going soon! And the holiday trips!! I think this is most likely IT for our WDW trips this year. DH has no more vacation days and the kids are burned out. Pretty sad when I am the one excited about going and nonbody else is. Jo said 3 days is all she cn take!

Well...talk to ya all alter and i will post pics tomorrow or the next day. It was an awesome trip..but long! I think when we go again we will max out at 8 nts.

How many nights did you guys stay for Channing? When we go in Jan, we'll be at AKL for 10 nights.
Are you still going back in October? I know you just said this is it for this year.

I'm glad you'll be back home soon! Vacation is fun but getting home to your own bed is great too!

The weather around here has been pretty good...today is the best of the best..breezy and no humidity around 80 and sunny a perfect summer day!


I just made the first batch of fresh salsa for the summer...i bought some Kentucky tomatoes at a stand by our house. Ummmm good! I think pina coladas/margaritas are in order to with that salsa!

For those of you who spend a long time at Disney (say 7 nights or longer) do you go to the parks every day? What do you do while not at the parks? We are going for 10 nights in January and I'm trying to work out a general game plan for all of us. So what activities do you do or places do you go while at Disney? Should we do a park each day and sometimes go in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon/evening? Any ideas for a longer vacation?

Thats a hard one Lesley. I am planning a 2 week trip next summer, staying RPC .... but we are doing discover cove and the water parks as its summer. We will also take a day to hang out at the resort pool. With you going in Jan and your kids being so young you will be limited on where to take them and keep them having fun.

I'd just like to hear any ideas from people.... we will have our in-laws with us so babysitters will not be a problem for us! We will have our VIP tour guide on weekdays for the parks but the weekends will be open for us and we don't have any plans right now.
