I am just scanning posts to catch up, so I don't know if this helps!!

But you can see Illuminations at EPCOT from the Yachtsman Steakhouse!!! Its not a room view, but an alternate way to see Illuminations!!

I want a room that we can watch from because we know all the kids will not make it to midnight (or 11:40 for Illuminations)

That is really interesting about the steakhouse. Is it on a high floor?
That is another place i've wanted to try.
I swear one day I have to go with just the wife so we can try all these places late at night.

The restaurant is not raised, but Illuminations is cool from there!

I am no expert and I am definitely ***uming that your making plans for July and not the holiday trip!! Because Illuminations is at 9:00 in July.

How old are your children? Mine are 13 and 11. Just wait the last couple of years they started to like the signature restaurants as much as my husband and I.

mr mike...(the almost perfect one )...we had a standard YC room and could see the fireworks...not the lower stuff. It was a GREAT room/location for us...hope we get somehting similar this time around.

Mandy! LOL... Yep....You busted Peter Perfect. I wonder where the mistake was? What did I miss?? Did he post on the "Drink Cheaters" thread??? I think that would be a FUN one for Peter All's input.

5KWallace...Oh..I hear you. I miss going in late January/early Feb. That was our favorite time to go. Now that I have a kid in HS and MS I can't be that easy going on taking them out of school. We had a fun time over Easter but it was painfully crowded. TONS of people have their spring breaks that last week in March - us included...we ditched early and arrived the Tuesday before Easter and it wasn't bad at all - it was actually really pleasant until Good Friday. That day was noticably different in crowd levels...still fun though! YOu might even get luckier with the April Easter. I think there aer less spring breakers during that time.

i know. people are just so full of themselves. It seems to me they should just look the other way and move on. Why beat the wicked dead horse over and over again about something so trivial and stupid. They set themselves up to be the hall monitors of the world. DUMB.

I am totally hooked on the Disney podcasts. I have soooo many I enjoy each week. I wind up wearing my ipod all day, haha, and doing my housework to the talk. It makes vacuuming or sorting laundry so much more enjoyable.

Well, I took Z for a long drive today. I think he's ready to get his license. DH is taking him tomorrow morning. I HOPE he passes. That will be a load off my mind.

I agree! I love my i pod, although I end up listen through the computer since it is centrally located between the kitchen and family room, I gotta be able to hear the kids scream when they need me! I fold all my laundry while I listen to podcast, I use to only listen to the DIS but since I have so much laundry and have to do it every day I had to venture out! I am warming up to a few others, but I still love me a good Pete rant!

By the way I hear they are renaming Tonga toast to Wicked Awesome Tonga Toast!

Have a great weekend ladies, DH b-day is tomorrow but we are having a yard sell and then going out to dinner ALONE! It has been a long time since that has happened! This restaurant is the same place that we ate at the night I got pregnant with two of my kids so DH will be sleeping on the couch for his B-DAY

I have 3 albuns full of pics and I am scanning them into the computer.

Hi guys!! WEll it has been a stressful morning here so far....Z is such a mega yutz and they finally made it out the door to the drivers license place. I am crossing my fingers. It could go either way. Ya...Dawn you're so right. If he does get his license that will be a loaf off my mind but I will be worried about him driving around alone. He has just been a sh*t last night and this morning and it's making my life here so rotten. I HATE TEENAGERS..........THEY ROT. I am literally on the verge of thrwoing in the towel and cancelling the trip. I am not happy to be having to drag his lazy a@@ with. He ruins everything very easily and it's so hard to hvae a good time knowing he's moping or being a smart mouth. I really sometimes cannot stand that kid.

Kelly those pics are awesome!! You are so cute. The first time I went to WDW as an adult was 1988....on my honeymoon!! I love the skyway pics and Goofy in a kilt!! LOVE a "man" in a kilt!!! whoohooo.....what a hotty. And yes...gotta love that Celtics hat & the Esprit sweatshirt....I used to LOVE Esprit clothes.

Dawn...I like the old me better too. Sorry, Peter All....perfect is no fun. BUt you wouldn't know about fun, I am sure. Peter All seems like a stick in the mud.

Mike - I am glad you got your three consecutive nights! Even if it's at the Poly! (just kidding!! ) And now that you at least have it, you can check for cancellations in rpc. That will be neat to be able to stay at WDW through New Years. I know Marci did last year and she posted pics of the balloon drop in the GF lobby. It looked really cool.

Well, well, it's a nice day here albeit nearly 100 degrees so I am taking Hannah to my parents to swim and hopefully get my legs a little bit tan! We are taking off for the beach in a week for the 4th, so I can't so this pale!!!

Channing, sorry abou Z being a !!! I really hope he does not ruin your trip. My older sister is super moody and I remember being around Lucy and JoJo's age and travelling with her. Once at age 7 and once at age 11. So I can relate ... Fortunately, I don't remember her being a butt, but my parents sure do!!! Hopefully, it will all work out ...

Mandy, make Marc stay away tonight! Maybe you can give him a safer but equally enjoyable "present" for his birthday if you KWIM!

It's disturbing how fast one crabby mouthy butt head can ruin the whole family dynamic. He was a jerk this morning and just put me in a foul mood...then it causes tension between me and DH, too.
