A gave up on the Bachelor years ago when Jen didn't pick someone!! But with nothing else on TV its gotten my attention again!!! I am HOOKED!!

Morning all!

Well when I left yesterday we topped out at 96 inside the store.
This morning its a chilly 92 in here.

The repair man was finally called but even if he finishes today we know from past experience it takes more than a day to cool off the store when the inside temp was in the 80s.

Never seen the Bachelorette...what about The Mole? Any fans?

Morning!

It's so hot here today! We're expecting record highs of 98 degrees! I'm looking forward to the comfortable weather in Orlando Thursday!

This morning as we walked our last day to school (yeah! ) it was already 81 degrees! DS1 was sweating in his stroller! The ice melted so fast in my ice coffee that it was coffee and water within 20 mins! YUCK!

I'm determined to pack today. I have all our clothes washed and starring at me in the laundry basket. I just have to move them into the suitcases! Of course DH now announces he needs new tank tops! He couldn't have told me this weekend when I was out shopping!? So tomorrow we're off to the mall. I could use a last minute mall run

Tonight DS4 has his "Kids Sing Broadway" year end show. His class is singing "I'll never grow up" from Peter Pan, "Seasons of Love" from Rent and something from Damn Yankees that required a Yankee shirt and hat for a costume change! Mind you it's going to be HOT with no a/c in the auditorium! The classrooms all have ceilling fans. I asked the teacher if the show is still on, and she said yes. They might keep all the stage lights off to avoid excess heat. I really thought it would be canceled since I heard that public schools are being dismissed early today due to the heat. I just hope they move it along quickly!! Preschoolers can move very slow getting off and on the stage!

Off to pack!

We only know how to make boys! Runs in the family! DH has 4 brothers, 2 sisters (5 boys all in a row!). I have two younger brothers.

Hoping for a healthy baby! And cooperative one! I hated having to return to ultrasounds because the baby was not cooperating!

Lesley, good luck with the ultrasound!!! I will cross my fingers for you! You need a girl!!! I cried while they were doing the ultrasound when they told me DS was a boy....OMG..I feel like a brat but I did...I wanted a girl so bad & I was so sure I was having a girl. But the tech said my girls would have a big brother. She was right! Two girls later! Although after she told me I was having a boy, I kept dreaming I was having a puppy. Have a wonderful time in Disney World and a great stay in the Grand Suite!!!!! I bet it will be amazing.

Mike that is horrid. I hope it works out and the place cools down faster for you.

I watched the Mole a long time ago. When there was a Baldwin on it and that lady from the D List, and Frederika the model....I couldn't get into it back then so I just skipped it this time around.

Same with the Bachelorette! I just don't care for Dianna - or whatever her name is....so whoever she picks is fine with me.

Do you guys think I should just skip the CP package?? I love Christmas and I am a sucker for Christmas music but I am afraid Lily will not sit still that long.

I have got to get this ADR thing done! I WAS soo excited and now I am just at a loss!

Here's my thought: Book it anyway and if she gets restless, leave. You are on DDP, right? It doesn't cost anything more than the meal credit so you might as well have it rather than regret it.

My super fabulous TA got ALL of my ADR's for me, including dinner at the castle the night of MVMCP!!!

Sending you pink vibes for a healthy baby girl! I had a boy first and was thrilled! Told myself it didn't matter with the second one as long as the baby was healthy. But I got major happy tears when my OB said it was 100% girl on the ultrasound!

Lesly that is great, sometimes even if it isn't the sex you were hopping for it's just nice knowing all is well and healthy!

I was gonna say I bet it was a boy but didn't want to sound negative. We were hopping for a boy with our fourth baby, 2 girls 2 boys was my goal, and the doctor told me after we found out it was a girl that the chances of having the opposite sex after having two of the same sex went down greatly. Turns out it is not a 50/50 chance every time !?!?

This gives you even more reason to try try try again!

ETA: WE have a boy and 3 girls and my husbands brother and his wife have 3 girls! DH and DBIL only make girls, we just got lucky by having DS!

Forgot to add, My uncle married a woman who had 9 siblings! In all there was 9 girls and 1 boy! Guess what # the boy was? 10! Ha Ha, they FINALLY got a boy and stopped.

He has 7 kids and counting, doing his best to carry on the family name!

Congrats Lesley! I know it may be a little disappointing to not have a girl, but think of all the baby stuff you have now that you can reuse!!

She's right --- it is more likeyly to have another of the same sex once you have 2 or more of the same. However.... there is also an increase in the chance of having a girl the man ages..... so you just have to keep this up until he gets "old" enough to produce a girl!

It worked for us! (Actually we were hoping for another boy.... but those things never work out the way we think they should) Besides --- having the girls later definitely increases the sibling spoiling. Our daughter is way too spoiled by her older brothers. (But it's a good kind of spoiling)

As for carrying on the name --- we carried on both names. The boys have his last name and the girl has my last name (I never changed it when we married) So.... in our house girls are G***'s and boys are P***'s. (Now that will confuse people! And it wasn't even my idea ! ) You should see how our Christmas cards arrive --- an annual source of laughter. Current frontrunner: G's & P's I like it !

Well, only 2 of the 3 boxes made it to the GF. Get this: the 3rd box is still on the truck because it's 36 lbs and the driver "just couldn't get to it"! I spoke with the actual person who receives the packages. The driver will return either later tonight or tomorrow morning. Thankfully, we don't arrive until Thursday!

Also, the very kind DISer from the family board left me her barely used umbrella stroller with "gifts for my boys in the basket". I can't imagine what she left? But it was so very nice of her.

Well, off to bring the boys for an early pizza dinner. 5pm DS4 has to be at school for his performance.

Oh, did I mention that my car outside temp. read 114 degrees today!!!

Still not packed!! I lounged around today. I MUST pack this evening!!1
