Target last week had Disney Zip-Loc bads in the dollar section. Little Mermaid and Little Nemo. They would be great for a Disney trip.

Too bad my kids won't eat back-pack squashed leftovers.:confused3 They are too cool for that. :cool2:

Each $1 pack included 10 sandwich size and 10 snack size. All printed with pictures. I did buy a set of each for home...my youngest thinks they're cute.

Morning gals!

Well we got soaked. :( 4-5 inches of rain overnight. They are calling for more today. My dh was out all morning checking fields and digging trenches to move the water. Boy...is he grouchy. You would have thought the world was ending this morning.:badpc:

I am not worried yet. I will worry later today if get more though. They are calling for more severe weather.

Oh well...I know I am going to the GF no matter what. GV, RPC whatever it is...I AM GOING!!:santa:

Hope everyone has a great day!! Vanessa

Good Morning,
Vanessa, it is so dark here that I think your storm came our way! :( It is starting to thunder. It is a shame because it is my seniors last day, and they usually have carnival outside! Not today.:( :(

Good Morning Everyone!!!

NY is getting rain today too!!!

Vanessa I hope everything works out!!! I hope the weather starts looking up for you!!

Morning everyone! Wow we got so much rain last night! It is still drizzling right now.

Channing, jojo is sooooooooo cute! I really want a girl! I should find out on Tuesday at my ultrasound. I can't wait! I'm sure it'll be another boy though since that's what we seem to make around here! :)

Mare,

That is really cool about the dress. I would love to see that. Project Runway is one of my guilty pleasures, along with Top Chef (yea! On tonight!) Why I love those shows I have no idea but I do!

Sorry you got more rain Vanessa. I *think* you live pretty stright across from us to the east, maybe a little north. I know we got a huge downpour, and there were 3-4 tornados within 5 miles of us!

Lesley, I didn't know you were pregnant!!! Congratulations!!! Oh...I had a boy first - he is 17.5 yrs old and waited 6 yrs for my first girl and then had another....honestly I love my son but my life wouldn't have been complete without my girls. I hope you have a girl. :goodvibes

Amy, I was thinking about your car question. We have always had luck with Toyotas and I know others that have too....I haven't had a Honda since the 80s we had a little CRX...that was a good car. Never had Hundais and I haven't hear such good about them but if you've owned them and had luck you would know better than hearsay. We switched to Nissans because we both downsized and they have more bells and whistles than Toyotas....we've been happy with our Nissan's too. So I don't knwo what to tell ya!:rotfl: Good luck on your choice!

Vanessa.....this weather has been horrible. I feel bad for you guys down there. Today it's foggy and gray and expecting more rain and there are flash flood warnings...we are too north for those, but maybe you have them....I hope that planting gets done but I am stressing with ya. LOL on the Hooters!! Our town had a FIT when they wanted to build one here. Hooters won but it is the ugliest building and they dno't take care of their landscaping - it looks like a dive of a roadhouse. It's pathetic. I don't think people go there and maybe they can't afford to keep it up! I'd be afraid I'd get food poisoning, lol, on their old wings. It would take me a lot of beer to be puttin on a Hooters outfit, haha!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: I thnk I'd be puking drunk before I would do that!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You guys crack me up. This Amish girl knows how to party. :rotfl:

Have a great day, all - I know I'll talk to ya later:thumbsup2

Chan:) Channing :)

and they are just ok!

Channing you won't be missing anything not having them.
Dawn, definitely great for the parks - very comfy and I love the pattern on the strap part but I don't know if I'll wear them much outside of Disney.Mabye they will grow on me!

Part of the problem is my giant foot - I got a size 8 and Crocs just have that rounded look anyway so they do look big! But not horrible.

A woman did not design these! The white bottom doesn't look that great especially with the contrast to the strip of black on the sole! It juts out on the back of the shoe about .5 of an inch so it makes my foot look even bigger! DD even thought they looked big!( but she liked the pattern on the straps, too!)

I would have made the sole all black and had it come straight down in the back - but I'm not a shoe designer! LOL! The straps are really cute, though!

The store that had them here, had a size 6 in the black and it looked a lot smaller than my giant 8's! Oh well, they will be comfy at the parks!:)

OMG...I wear a size 10 or 11 :rotfl: Yep..I look like a bozo in Crocs. I only humiliate myself in them for Disney World. NOt even in DisneyLAND. LOL...

I bought a pair of the original style Croc flips and they are soooo G*d AWFUL BUTT UGLY I wear them around the house or working in the yard and for that they're great....but ugh. They do need a nicer more feminine fit. Ya..suck it up and wear them for comfort in the "World".....sorry they're not more CUTE.:headache:

Isn't it funny how the size 6s always look so adorable? :rotfl: :rotfl: I am the same...pick up a cute display shoe and thing I want these...then they bring em out in size 10 and it's hard to believe it's the same darn shoe.:rotfl2:

I hate shopping with my petite friends that can slip the demo shoe on!! :headache:  Lucy used to, but she wears an 8 now!! haha....she's gonna have mom's big feet.

Chan:)

I am about 40 minutes north of Springfield and 30 minutes south of Peoria. Pretty much smack dab in the middle of IL. Springfield had terrible weather. I had to drive about 20 minutes out of my way this morning because our creek is out and the roads are flooded. pretty crazy

I know what you mean! :headache: Why can't I have cute little feet?

I wear a size 8.5 ,sometimes a 9 but I went down to an 8 in Crocs. STILL HUGE LOOKING! Ugh- they looked adorable in the store. I think the Mango are actually cuter- something bugs me with the stark contrast between the black and white on the ones I have. Oh well! At least I got $5 off from Shoebuy - that makes me feel a little better!:)

Hey are you all chatting tonight? I have no life on Wednesdays now that AI is done!

I haven't had cute little feet in like 32 years.:rotfl: BUMMER!

I didn't go on the computer last night:mad: ...DH is getting snarky about my ME time on the computer all night.:rotfl: :rotfl: He asks why I can't do it during the day......LOL... I kind of understand because when he gets absorbed in a game I get lonely to....we'll see maybe tonight! :rotfl: Just check in!:thumbsup2

Chan:)

Mandy,
This just sounded so wonderful. Did you get you wedding dress out? What a great idea....a fancy nancy box. So tell me did you do tea and cookies?

I purchased a Hummel tea set for parties with my girls. Can't wait to use it (under supervision only) :goodvibes

Today is a laid back day for me. I got some bug whle in NC or flying home. Sore throat, head and noise stuff. So I am just watching HGTV and crusiing the DIS. :boat: Talk with you later.

Angel

Nope no wedding dress, it is really huge and has lost a lot of beads so I decided not to drag it out and make it worse....:worried:

I have a gaudy 80's prom dress that I got at good will for the the Fancy Nancy d-day party we did in October for dd4. I have a bunch of boas, long gloves, big costume jewelry, and big Kentucky Derby like hats that we all wear! I have done a lot of musical theater and I always ended up with crazy costumes that I ended up keeping because I was attached to my character :rotfl: I also am also a Victorian Caroler at Christmas time so we have a nice dress up collection! There is also a costume company close to here that has a sale every year and I go and buy fun accessories, between them and good will I have a closet full!

Tea party's here are pb&j and apple juice on, again, cheep o china cups and plates I got at good will! :rotfl:

Chan LOVE the Jojo pics, she is super cute! I did a lot of dance as a kid, helped me get a lot of good parts in several shows!

V Gosh, I hope the rain lays of a while for ya'll! Don't give up on RPC! :wizard:

I wish you could send all that rain our way, we need it so bad! It actually stormed here last night too! We need it so bad, but it was graduation and it was outdoors, I felt bad for everyone there :worried: We had a lot of lightning and we lost power, freaked the kids out and every one ended up in the living room camped on the floor. Just as the storm ended and everyone got settled we heard a drip in the corner of the living room and thought the roof had leaked but it turned out our AC unit drain line was clogged and the pan got full and leaked! DH and I were up till 1 am draining the line. :headache: Just glad our roof had not leaked! The kids could not sleep with all the commotion so we are just now getting up around here! I love the charm of our old house but sometimes I wish we had a bright and shiny new place!

Have a great day ladies!

Just read all about the croc capris, and I agree about the white bottoms they will get dirty fast! I have a lilac pair of maryjanes and a bubblegum pink pair of malindis so I got the solid black capris! I love em! They are not as cute as the patterned ones but I get tires of having to clean my lighter colored crocs so that is why decided against the white bottomed ones.

Here is a link to the black ones

Mandy- Your such a good mommy! I am doing a tea party in July for Lily's 4th Bday. I need to get started on the planning. I hope you guys get some rain soon. pixiedust:

Channing- I promise not to take you to Hooters:rotfl2: Dh is grouchy with me at night while I am on the computer also. :(

Wendy~ Your pm box is full!

I need to get to work! Too much computer time the last two days!

Mandy, thanks!:goodvibes

I love older houses!! We used to have a super charming house and sold it to move out here but it sold in one day...I used to have people stop and come and ask me if I was going to be sellling it, haha...it was adorable but the people that bought it - the hysband is a contractor...they turned it into a modern mcmansion!! So weird.....too bad they didn't keep it's charm. Whew! good thing it wasn't your roof!! Every funky thing that happened when we owned our house we would stress....wondering if that was the biggie!! Luckily DH is mr fixit.

I showed Lucy pics of Fancy Nancy....she was gaga over that doll...she has the cutest face. I need to run my butt over to Target again today and HOPEFULLY pick up one...I looked on Ebay and they wre saying "Hard to GET"...bleh blah..hopefully I dind't miss out on the dolls at Target....the clothese are sooo cute, too. Lucy just loves dolls etc...I am saving it for her bday. It wll sit on a shelf, but she is just adorable. I need to get the book or books! That is so cute that your girls are so into it!! I never ever heard of it.

V, I'd go to Hooters...in another town haha...

Chan

The little Fancy Nancy dolls are so cute. :thumbsup2 I am going to Target today and see if ours has them. ( seeing that I have 5 little nieces that LOVE to play with dolls!). :goodvibes
I agree with you Channing, I wear a 10-11 shoe and nothing looks cute at all. :( Last year at the Disney gift shops they had a canvas white shoe with an stitched Mickey on the side, so cute. Sad because they did not make them past a size 10! Bummer!:headache:

Good Morning,
Vanessa, it is so dark here that I think your storm came our way! :( It is starting to thunder. It is a shame because it is my seniors last day, and they usually have carnival outside! Not today.:( :(

I hope he is able to have this!! The weather has not been great anywhere this year.

A senior...oh are you ready to cry??

Vanessa, I am, but next Tuesday at Graduation I will probably be a basket case! :worried: My son text me and the carnival was on but inside. He said it was still :thumbsup2 . I agree, this weather has been so rainy this year so far. It feels like we have been cutting the grass every other day just to keep up with it.::yes::
