Me too!!

I love that movie - so many hilarious lines from it :rotfl:

Like when Dolly Parton says,
"In a good shoe I wear a size 6, but a 7 feels so good, I buy an 8!"

"If you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by me!"

That pretty much describes me to a T. ;)

I was handling catastrophic property claims, fires, tornado and hurricane losses.

Since jan 1- I started handling catastrophic work comp claims. Beginning to realize that this is very depressing. It has broke my heart so far. The one guy was 29 and had three children under the age of 5. Very sad when you have to sit down with these people.

The property stuff was too but I was most generaly a hero because I was helping them get their lives back together. I know some insurance companies are not like that but I work for the best around. We pay what we owe and more...that is the motto. I was just starting to feel too old to be running around on ladders etc. (very tiring)

I have done this for 10 plus years and have an office in my home which is great with the kiddos and all of their running.

My sister was a victims advocate for 4 years and just transferred to different position in the agency. She was starting to be affected to much by it. The funny thing is she was honored by the Fla governor her last week on the job as the top Advocate in FLA. She dealt with victims of crime and or their family's or just victims of accidents, she made all the death notifications from traffic accidents. Before that she was a CSI and between the two jobs she saw some horrific things. She just started her new job a few weeks ago and is loving not being around death so much.

good morning, everybody.:flower3:

Back from the doctor....no strep for Jojo - which is good - but she's still sick and all we can do is have her rest and drink.......she still has a 101 fever. She LOOKS better though. There's a wicked virus out there.:sad2:

Dawn, I hope your eye is better!!! I hope that stuff starts working.

Lindsay! Welcome back! I am looking forward to seeing your pics.

I guess I need to catch up more!! You guys have been sooo busy here!:goodvibes

I do have to say....YES, there are some really nasty people on the DIS. I think I know what P means about that IPO thread....I haven't even read it, but sometimes it just doesn't even pay to vent on the DIS...you get attacked by all the people that have had nothing but WONDERFUL experiences....or they stalk you and jump you at WDW.:rotfl: :rolleyes1

OMG...I love Steel Magnolias....I think I would be ornery Shirley Maclaine and my big newfie fits the part of her St. Bernard. :rotfl:

I’ve been reading all things “Grand Floridian” for a few months on various boards. My DH, our DD31, she’s an RN and loves WDW as much as she did, or more, than when she was a little only child princess, and her DS5, our grandson, will be staying GV at GF June 17-23. Our DS19 college freshman is way over WDW (I don’t know who he takes after) and has opted out this trip.

We’ve been at least once per year since our honeymoon in 1976. We have stayed at most of the deluxe, moderate and values over the years but this will be our first stay at the GF. I have always requested a room close to the food court, bus stop, main building, pool, etc. depending on the resort. DH thinks we should roll the dice and not make any requests since the GF is not ridiciously spread out nor does it seem to have any bad views. I think I agree with him. However, I would like to know if there are any room locations we should try to avoid when we check in.

I would appreciate any advice.

By the way, still in my 40’s…for a couple of months.

Praline – I think we are practically neighbors.
