Good morning ladies (and gents), :) ladies, I am going to the mall today and I need some suggestions for a new fragrance. I would like to have something new for our trip in a few days. I am so tired of the same ones. Any suggestions? What do you wear? Thanks!:goodvibes :)

Princess I am a long time fan of Estee Lauder Pleasures also they have some other Pleasures variation that are nice for the summer...Happy shopping:)

Good morning girls. Well with all of this running around I have caught a cold or sinus infection or something. All I know is that I feel like crap.

I love Estee Lauder Pleasures and have worn if for years.

Hope everyone has a good day! I need to get caught up at work.

Just saw that you are a Pleasures fan too:) I just love the way it smells...:flower3: Hope that you feel better....

good morning...:goodvibes

I am so not a perfume gal. I just do the Bath & Body works, Basin, or my H2O scented lotions - sometimes body sprays. Sorry..no ideas for ya here.

Morning..... I mean afternoon sleeping beauty! :rotfl2:

First, i am with Chan. I do not wear perfume just bbw body sprays. Every perfume i have tried gives me headachs. My sister got me Leila or something like that form Norway in Epcot but I cant wear it

You slept till 10? You lucky dog! :thumbsup2

You gotta start making them get up like 30 min earlier every few day! I remember the summers I would sleep till noon, ugh they pass by so fast! LOL

Seriously I am cracking up about me getting a nap! Yeah right, but thanks for the laugh!

Ya'll today is not a good home school day, I am having to be super tough on DS. He is giving me major attitude and I had to take away his PS2 controllers till tomorrow. He is not wanting to do it today and rushed through somethings and I erased his work and made him start over, and he mouthed off to me! I made him call the principal (dad, lol) and we had a little meeting. Now he is in his room till lunch! I hate this part of it! He is so awesome and eager 98% of the time but today he shows his butt! :teacher:

BTW Chan this thread has 76,500 views but only 3,000 post...... so thats a lot peeps reading this!

Hi everyone.

Just when I thought I was doing so well...the extendable handle on Alex's suitcase does not extend anymore. Looks like I am buying him a new suitcase tomorrow! And darn it, his was the fully packed one! GRRR!

7 days!!!

The extendable handle on my suitcase came off before out last trip. but im still too cheap to buy more like P is asking.

Morning all ~ :surfweb: I had a horrible nights sleep last night, ended up on the couch b/c DH snoring was outrageous and then the a dumb cricket would not shut up........ so needless to say I am not too chipper!

Sorry about your sleep; I've been having good sleeps here lately the weather is so cool at night it almost feels cold. Fell asleep with a nice strong breeze right on me. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh We are having some nice weather lately even with the afternoon storms and tornado watches around.

good afternoon GF gals! Hope everyone is having a nice day...

I have some questions about visiting the parks in the summertime since its been quite some time since a summer time visit for us...I know that it rains every day (we'll be buying our ponchos once we're there ,thanks Channing for the info on their exchange policy) and that its hot:scared: ...do the parks tend to empty out when it rains....also I've heard different info on crowds in the particular park that has AM EMH....we dont tend to park hop...but do like to take a midday break....:confused3

TIA:flower3:

Off to buy a book for the trip-looking for some good summer reading...

We jumped over to the MK one eve after it had been pouring heavy for a few hours. It was much more crowded than i thought it was going to be. We did a few easy rides and left.

HI M&P was this on one of the EMH days? I am a little worried about the crowds...I mean I do know its summer, but trying to develope some kind of strategy:) Also thanks for the quick reply...

Blueskies... don't worry so much about crowds. It won't be nearly as bad as you think since so many schools have already started (or are about to). We went last year 8/25-9/3 and I was stunned at how slow it was (except for the restaruants since so many were there for Free Dining).

Just get to the parks when they open. You will get a lot rides done and you can bail out before it gets too hot. As for coming back after the break, the evenings are still pretty crowded, but really seem to empty out after 9pm or so. We find EMH night crowds very manageable if you can stay till the end.

As for the parks emptying when it rains, nope! :goodvibes People pull out the ponchos and umbrellas and go with it. Even a rainy day at WDW is better than a day at home! :thumbsup2

Cinderumbrella Thanks so much for the info, you have definitely put my mind at ease:) We will be doing just that-getting to the parks early and taking a midday break (some cabana time:cool1: ) and then heading back later in the evening. I found out the hard way that during free dining the TS restaurants are crowded-tried to rearrange some ADRs NOT happening...:sad1: Thank you so much for all of the terrific information:) Your answers are always very helpful...You GF gals have been wonderful!!!:flower3:

Hello All!

Any good strategies for navigating around the MK with little ones? Fantasyland (my fave) always seems to be the most crowded, no matter what time of day!

Also, what is the height requirement for Splash Mountain and the Tomorrowland Speedway (not sure if that is really what it is called)? Will DSalmost2 be able to ride?

Thanks!

OK, here is the key to Fantasyland. You must go there as soon as the park opens (or better yet on an AM EMH).

First ride Dumbo, then Peter Pan, then Winnie the Pooh. From there we back track to the rest (Snow White, Small World, Carrousel, Tea Cups) We save Philharmagic for later in the day when we need the A/C! Also, we park the stroller at Philharmagic and leave it until we exit Fantasyland rather than move it from place to place.

Height requirement for Splash is 40". Any one can ride the Indy Cars with an adult. I believe it is 52" to ride alone.

HTH! It always works for us!

HI sun....

Hope you are having a quiet afternoon....I'm not sure what the height restrictions are for some reason 40" tall comes to mind....but my answer is definitely not reliable (its been quite some time since we"ve had to think about that:rotfl: ) ....

Thanks Cinderumbrella! Sounds like a GREAT strategy to me and DAunt! :) Those three rides and the carousel are our faves!! Something tells me DS will want to repeat the same ride over and over again, and in all likelihood it will be the most crowded attractions! I foresee many a temper tamtrum in my future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, thanks for the height requirement info.! I will measure him when he gets up from his nap!!!!!!!!!!!

It was on an EMH evening...i was just hoping that no one would come.
Peter pan was packed at 10pm but the Haunted mansion was empty.

F!

We go to fantasyland first or sometimes second after buzz and speedway. We never have any problems getting all of Fantasyland done. We usaully skip Dumbo though. Philharmagic is best left for afternoon or when it gets too hot.
