Hello! I popped in to see what's going on. Here's some Camp Rock trivia. Much of the movie was filmed in Canada, and mostly at our son Mark's overnight camp, Kilcoo! I brought Mark over to the computer to watch the trailer - but I didn't tell him why. After 15 seconds, and without a clue that it was filmed in Canada (and quite frankly, not really caring about the movie!), he shouted, "Hey, that's my camp!"

In fact, he's having a great time up there right now!

Hi gals. I survived the tea party. We ended up with 15 little girls and 8 adults. It was totally crazy. The person I talked to stated I would be in the garden room so I was imagining this as my own room. Well...I was wrong. This was a small alcove type room off the main restaurant so you could see everyone else eating etc. Imagine all those little girls in a very small room...you get the picture. Totally Crazy. I hope they had a good time. They were all so cute in their dresses.

I brought music from Disney. Wish Upon a Star etc. One little girls said she really did not like that music and wanted to hear Hannah Montanna. That is Lily also. As much as I want her to be a princess she is turning into a little pop queen very early in life.

Then we had a cookout and I served dinner for 19 people. I am exhausted.

Evie is leaving tomorrow! Have fun! Let us know if you get moved. We hear the Fort Wilderness is moving people and this is where Evie is staying (totally long story) but she is going to try to get moved to a DVC resort today. Sorry...I know I am telling your story but to you. Hopefully things work out. I am sure you will be fine at Ft. Wilderness but it stinks you cannot get all the DVC perks and you still have to rent a golf cart and pay for your internet. Let us know how it turns out!

I have got to work today. I have done nothing for two days and my mail is about 1 foot deep on my desk.

Awww ... That makes me sad to hear little girls don't want "princess" music!!! But it makes me feel better too that's it's not just my DD and her friends! They are the same way at age 5!!!
I did a "tea" type party for Hannah's 5th birthday and it was crazy with about 12 girls and 10 adults IN MY HOUSE! I don't know what I was thinking ...

I know it's sad when they get out of the Disney princess phase. If it's any consolation, DD is 10 and still likes the princesses when we're at Disney! Luckily, after the Disney princess phase she went to an American Girl phase. (She still likes them!) We had an American Girl Spa Party a few years ago! Everything comes packaged together from AG so that part was super easy! But try having 12 girls and having to give manicures, pedicures, and "facials"! I had two teenagers that DD loves come and help me! And the girls had a blast! But they wanted to listen to Hannah Montana, HSM, Jesse McCartney, Cheetah girls music!!

Hi GF Girls!!! I just printed my boarding passes, so we are down to the final countdown- Yea!!! Unfortunately, I could not get upgraded, so at this point I am not sure where we are staying -long story. When we check at FW cabins, they are supposed to offer to move us, and I will only move if they upgrade us to deluxe. Last night they told me they were moving people to PO and CBR. I need a kitchen, since we are having drinks delivered, so one of the DVC resorts is my only option or I would love to be upgraded to GF , but I am sure that is out of reach. So, please send some my way!!!

Vanessa's party was beautiful!!! If I knew how to post picts, I would, but I have not had time to learn yet. When I get back from trip....

I did book the GF afternoon tea for our Jan trip, so thank you all for your help with that.

Chicago girls Here is the scoop on the DVC event at the comedy club. If you are a nonmember, go to disneytravelshowcase.com to register. There are different times and dates you can go to. They are giving a free disney trip away at each event, characters will be there, etc...
I had to register for members event which is Sun evening (Aug 3rd), so Dawn we will at different ones Just a fun excuse to go to Woodfield, but my DH may be disneyed (is that a word??) by the time we get back.

Chan Good luck with the kitty!!! We just got a new kitten in May. Our dog passed away this past fall and with 4 kids I could not commit to raising a puppy too, so a kitten had to do. Her claws need to go and are when we get back!! The kids love her and she basically can take care of herself.
