Chan......Did you guys get much snow last night?? We didn't get much at all......maybe just an inch . But that's fine with me because I did not want to wake up to a winter wonderland of snow .

Yikes on the snowstorm! Hopefully this will be the last one! It was only a high of 45 down here yesterday so its not spring weather here either.

Deb- sorry to hear about the Assistant Principal. Thats terrible!

Siobhan - I was wondering if you went to the Dr.? Glad you got some new meds and you are starting to feel better!

Chan - Did you get a coffeepot? So Zicam works? I may have to try it instead of Airborne next time!

hey all! I am up EARLY!!! I forgot I made the girls a 9 am dentist appointment.....6 months ago....I sure didnt think I"D be the one taking them.

Kelly...have a FUN time!!! I hope you guys do make it to RFC.....Happy fun day to Anty! *snort snort*

Deb...that is just so sad. I hope everybody at the school is OK. Yah..I bet it will feel weird next week when she's not there....and people might be very gloomy too....OH! funny sub story...OMG...my neighbor subs at the highschools in our district.....yesterday a kid wound up getting suspended....she had some kids in the computer lab...and a newb kid came in and said he needed to do his work...so she was like OK..that's fine...(she wasn't about to say NO)...well next thing ya know HER kids were going OMG...OH OH OMG!!! and ICK!!! OH!!! well...she saw what they were gawking at....the newb kid had pulled up gay porn and everybody was grossed out .....ok..so she goes over and - she is sooo dorkishly polite - says to the kid...I don't think you should be looking at that in school....please take it down. (in her preschool teacher voice) ..and the kid did...and her kids werw all about getting that guy in trouble.....so she figured she better tell somebody...so she did...and BOOM the kid was being escorted out and got suspended.....I thought HS had some blockers on that type of stuff....I was really surprised he was able to go to a site like that in the school computer lab.

Wendy! YES IT WORKS IT IS AMAZING!!!! Still no coffee pot..TODAY though....and I wnated a McD coffee run but these kids are dinking around and I don't know that I will have time to drive thru before dentist apptmetn.....UGH!!!!!!

We got about 3 inches maybe??? Its still snowing buckets now.....It sure does look pretty and it IS a winter wonderland....i hate it already...but it's prettier than the ugly bare brown mucky ground.

OK! I am off....ttyl...have a good Saturday all. Stay away from the NO FUN ZONE!!

Deb- I am so sorry your school is going through this. Working in a school I know how hard this must be on everyone. I hope they are all getting by. It will be a rough road to the end of the year.

Siobhan- I hope you feel better soon. Being sick sucks.

Chan- HS Comp Lab here...the blockers SUCK! I have kids doing legit breast cancer research and they get blocked at every turn. Then a kid comes in and types "porn" into google images...up comes a milion little naked people pictures. It is totally insane that the blockers are so weak. Good on the school for suspending the kid though. The policy is very clear on that here. OUT!

Kel- Have fun at RFC..i keep wanting to take the kids down to eat there...they would love it. Quin wants to go to T-Rex next trip (I don't have the heart to tell him "next trip" is looking a long way away. )

Ok- off to Jokers (Like Chuck-E-Cheese but crappier.) The In laws are taking the kids (and me ) for lunch...UGH! Did I mention I hate my IL's????

I will TTYL...only 2 more days then back to work and free time on the computer.

Dawn,: on the suit. When the bus driver picks you up will you stop and pick me up too. I would like to stay until May. That's how long it will be before it is warm around here.

Deb, That is terrible about the AP. That must be very hard for everyone.

Chan, Don't forget to get a coffee pot when you go out today. That kid has a lot of nerve to try to get away with porn sites at school. He didn't think someone would notice? Glad they suspended him.

BlueSkies, We have a quisinart grind and brew. We use DD beans, but go to DD every chance I get too. Somehow it just tastes better there.

Siobhan, Get better soon.

Now they are saying we are getting rain here, no sn*w. We shall see, they keep changing their minds.

Just got back from taking DS to drivers ed and popping into Walgreens......but in another 1/2 hour I have to leave again to go pick him up . All this running back and forth is a killer.....I can't wait until he can drive himself.....oK....that's not really true ......but it will be nice once drivers ed is over and I don't have to take him 3 times a week .


Chan......That is unbelievable about that kid and the porn site . I thought schools had better blockers than that.....especially high schools . I agree with Maxie......did the kid really think he'd get away with it . Crazy things happen all over the place .


Wendy......I'm hoping this is the last storm.....I can't take anymore of this weather . It's kind of snowing here but just flurries......but the wind is strong and it's drifting snow all across the roads so it makes for some hazardous driving out here in the country .


Shel.....I agree......it's going to be a rough road from now until June . And I just rememberd her office is up front right when you walk in.......that's the first office everybody sees as soon as they enter .

Hi Gals....

Deb Its no fun being the taxi driver...especially when its 7 days a week...thank goodness DD had her classes at school right at the end of the day...

Back from shopping with DH...or TRYING to shop with him... wanted his input on the exercise bikes I chose...should have gotten it weeks ago...so today we finally find the time to go together...and he says hes not sure....

Today our weather is cold and windy thats it though...no snow...no rain...

Maxie I hope in 27 days spring will be here...this winter has seemed soooo long....

Dawn and Maxie I think you both have trips coming up pretty soon ...oh to be at Disney...anyone have room in their suitcase....

Hey all...I have been popping in and out between running kids all over the darn place....

The roads are not so good...I saw RIGHT BEHIND ME...a Wrangler go off the road into a snow bank.....

And I went everywhere running but not a coffee maker place....I did get a really good skim milk sugar free vanilla latte at McDs this morning on the way to the dentist...YUMMO....maybe I will save my money on the coffee maker and just buy these from now on!! I found my new addiction.....except for their diet coke which I am drinking NOW.....I have made three drive bys at McDs today...

I cannot drink coffee past 1030 am...it just tastes blucky to me after morning. Is that weird?? OK..so it is..I know.

Oh..that porn kid...it's not his first time. He has some ISSUES apparently. He just does what he wants.

I am making pizza tonight....

Kristin...I bought Paczkis!!!!! (gosh I probably botched that spelling...) but I was so surprised to see them out...YUMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm

Evening GALS and Marvel.......

I just popped on here to say my washer died..... it has finally bit the dust and the part we need to fix it is no longer made and we have to buy a new one.......

I know several of you have the front loaders and i was wondering if any one had a HE top loader............ also would we be sorry if we only got the washer now and waited to get the dryer? We have a newer dryer (not a fancy one but it is great) and i cant see parting with it only after a year. I assume that if those newer washers spun out the clothes like they say they do then a more basic dryer would do the job..............

Ughhh...... i am sick of researching washers so input and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!! Remember we need large capacity!

We planned on getting a new W/D and have looked at the Electrolux but we figured we would be buying em next year at tax time.

TTYL! Gotta go feed the fam!

Chan......I can't drink coffee after a certain time in the morning either.....not sure why but it just doesn't taste the same later in the day . I drink Diet Pepsi here at home but I LOVE McD's Diet Coke......it's my favorite . The roads here are nasty too ....and the wind is still very strong....makes for horrible driving conditions .


Mandy.....Sorry your washer went out......good luck deciding on a new one .

Chan, Still no coffee pot. Coffee is good anytime. It has to be good coffee though.

Mandy, Sorry you need a new washer. Don't worry about the dryer. Except for the new steam dryers, all they do is heat up and tumble the clothes. The fancier ones just have more buttons. I have a Kenmore HE4t. This is the first front loader I ever had, and while it is OK, I would get a top loader next time. I am getting old and that is too much bending down for me.

BlueSkies, Did you get a bike? Just pick the one your butt fits on.

Hey all....

UHHH i could drink coffee all day long.....right up til i go to bed....I found my new favorite at Starbucks...Americano with cream...BUT Mc'D has the best and at a good price.

Well its just the old peeps here at home tonight....we are like old fogeys..hopefully we wont be in bed by 9pm

I spent the day watching movies and doing laundry....I watched "W" (really good even if you are a Bush hater) and "Nights in Rodanthe" (stupid) now we are going to watch "Changeling", eat pizza and have some wine....WHICH thanks to Chan my new favorite is Moscato!

Mandy...sucko on the washer....next time mine goes out im getting a front loader...i think Chan knows all about W/D didnt you just buy one??
