DAwn...Yummola on the Muscat!! Or..Muscato....LOL....No old fogies here....I have a few girls jumping up and down on the DDR....I wish it were summer and they'd be outside swimming.....ugh....THUD THUD THUD THUD.... I wish I had some Muscat..but I can't drink when kids are over.....WISH is another thing. We have a new DD down the road....they don't have a drive thru though..that's a requirement of mine. LAZY...plus if I go IN THERE>..you know what I'd come out with......

ME know about Washers and Dryers?!?!? Are ya kiddin? Washer -I know it's big....it uses water....and detergent....and the clothes come out clean....the dryer...it's good to have and use vs not.

Mandy...my front loader does spin the clothes out much faster...and it is HUGE....(one of the things I know ) and then that huge load dries in 48 min in the front loader dryer....You can get whatever you need and then buy whatever you need later. If your dryer works....just get the new washing machine you want. Bummer timing though.....I hate buying appliances....I am going to get a new DW soon. Mine is fine but it's getting to the point where it acts up once in a while....so just waiting for it to crap out. They just don't make anything like they used to...nothing lasts.

Well....In IL...I have only called it a shopping cart. The buggy thing kind of weirds me out....Buggies are for babies. BUT..some peeps only call them STROLLERS......and DH calls them PRAMS...go figure.

Hope everybody is enjoying their Saturday night.....I have that constant thudding going on....

Mandy, sorry to hear about your washer. I looked online and it looks like there may be a few Sears outlets within a resonable distance from you. We get all our appliances from them or from the scratch n dent section at Lowe's or Home Depot. Our GE front load washer was $400 and our Kenmore HE5 frontloader dryer was $450. We saved about $300 on the washer and about $500 on the dryer because of cosmentic damages I can't even find. We usually see loads of good deals in these places, so you might seriously consider them.

We had a regular dryer for about a year and a half after getting the new washer until it died on us. It worked fine, better than before actually because the front loader does such a good job of spinning.

Dawn - WTG on the makeup bags! They are great and I like them because they wipe off so easily if you get makeup on them.
If you go to the Eliza b website you can design your own. Cant remember if I told you that or not. They say to allow 3 weeks or so since they literally custom make them by hand. Mine actually came in about 12 days. Just FYI so you get them in time for your trip! Speaking of your trip - it's getting close!!

Mando - I love my front loaders because we got the optional drawers that go underneath both the washer and dryer so we don't have to bend over! Mine are about 3 years old and they are Whirpool Duets. They have come out with newer and better ones since, but I do like mine.

Good Morning, 26 days until spring.:

I did my banking and grocery shopping, and I am still in my jammies.

Wendy, I can't use the drawers for my washer and dryer. I am too short to put the soap in. I would need to stand on a stool to reach.

Dawn, love the new motto. I very rarely get anything to eat at DD. I just go in for the coffee. The donuts aren't as good as they used to be now that they tried to make them healthier. Who wants a healthy donut.

UGH...I am working on taxes. Ours are due 2/28 because of our 1099's. Just getting started. Kelly you are WAY TOO motivated!

Theo came home yesterday. Our new puppy who I do not think has been put down yet!!! Such a cutie. Only one potty on the floor!! YIPEEE. Hopefully this will be easy.

Hey Mandy- Just saw your post. I have the Kenmore HE 5T. (I had to look...really had no idea) I do like it. I did NOT get the drawer that goes underneath that lifts it up a bit. I think it was $250 and I am doing fine right now bending over but this may change.

When I got this I did purchase the Sears maintenance plan. They just came out and did the yearly check etc and gave me some tips and tricks on how to keep them clean etc.

I also have the dryer. I would say the only thing about not getting the dryer would mean you may have to dry two loads to your one load of laundry that you have washed. I can get a lot more clothes in my front loader but it does really spin most of the water out.

Congrats on the new puppy. What kind did you get? Good luck on the house breaking. Hope it continues to go well for yor. DS's dog is over a year old and she still has accidents on the floor. We never had a problem before, but this dog is being stubborn.

Thank goodness SHUSH 1 had the little thing of body glide she let me borrow. It worked like a charm and no blisters. I am definitely getting some for our June trip!

Wendy...ok i ordered the slap soles...but its hard to pick out the ribbon, peanut color and toe color! I usually wear a 8-81/2 so i ordered a 9
DD had 2 bottles of body glide so i already swiped one and put it in my makeup case for Mar....

I am the laundry lady too... DH helps on occasion... but after all of these years he still hasnt gotten the knack of sorting !!!

As for the college kids laundry!!! Written instructions wouldnt help...
